I am about a year out of a 360 back surgery with Dr. Mody. I have had outstanding results - basically, I could barely walk from weakness & pain, & I now am back to my full life again. It's amazing. He is a skilled surgeon, knowledgeable, straight-forward & kind, & his staff is knowledgeable as well, attentive & friendly. I'm pain free today because of my experience - I can't thank him enough!

I just had a lumbar fusion five days ago and walked 2 miles yesterday and a mile and a half today. Had other things to do!
I think I could walk to Shreveport and I live a long ways out… I cannot even believe in less than one week I am better than before! and I am only beginning to understand how he changed my life! His attention to detail and understanding of what can and cannot be helped with surgery is unprecedented. His skills are only matched by his desire to help and his strong need to make things right! A rare commodity these days…
Thank you Dr. Mody and your team! You guys are changing lives every day!

I saw 3 spine doctors for my neck issues. I had stenosis with 5 herniated discs & my alignment was pitched forward. Other surgeons in TX and LA wanted to do 2 or 3 disks but they said my alignment could not be fixed. I was miserable after physical therapy, neck injections and medications including powerful narcotics.

My neighbor was bragging on how dr. Mody fixed his back a few years ago. I made an appointment to see Dr Modyy. I had to see his PA Jeannie first and she ordered new CT & nerve study. My wife and I met with Dr. Mody and he explained in simple terms what my problems were and how to fix them if I wanted surgery. Dr. Mody wanted me to decide when and if I wanted this major surgery.

After asking my other doctors (Savory, Chhabra and Broadwell) about him I did have my surgery last year. It was a long 6hour surgery but he was able to fix 80% of my problems. He initially said that I would only be 50% better but honestly I am so much better. Dr Mody went from the front of neck and also back of my neck on the same day. He took care of the alignment and pressure on my spinal cord at all 5 disks. I was home after 4 days and I followed His instructions after surgery.

I would recommend Dr. Mody very highly for his surgery skills and warm bedside manners. His staff (Jeanie, Elise and Hollie) are also great. You may have a long wait but that's because so many people want to see him!

Dr Mody set me straight on why he would not operate on my back. My wife found dr.modi just by looking online. We called and asked for an appt soon. His people got me an appointment in two weeks and i was told by some other people that i would never get in - Dr Mody has 2-3 months wait blah blah blah......
Dr Mody is said to be one of the best back surgeons in Louisiana. He did all his tests on me and told me after the last test, he was sorry but he could not operate because too much of my spine was too damaged for surgery to help. Another neurosurgeon in Shreveport just wanted to cut on me right away without proper testing. DrMody told me i would have to be on pain meds to conttol my pain . we really appreciate DrMody telling us the truth without sugar coating it

DrModi told my wife and I the truth. He turned down good paying insurance & $$$. We like his Honesty and not wanting to make a quick buck. Susan had 5 back surgeries in Longview by Dr Chow and Fontanot. But Modi said another back surgery would not make Susan any better. In fact, the last 2-3 surgeries have not helped her at all and made her worse. He has recommended some injections and spinal stimulator by a pain doctor. All our church folks go to Dr Modi for a very good reason - he is a straight shooter and smart. We liked Modi and his assistant Elise right away. Go see them before you let another surgeon cut on your back. -Trey & Susan

I had back surgery done by Dr. Mody. I couldn't ask for any better care. When I was referred to him that my problem was my back, he couldn't see me but they got me set up with his NP to get me into the system. The NP spent a lot of time with me showing and explaining to me what was wrong. When I saw Dr Mody, he did the same thing, so patient and kind and very informative. I had 2 surgeries to my back and my family was very impressed as to Dr. Mody keeping them informed of events and then after the surgery how he came to them and informed them of my surgery and what he did, he drew them pictures to explain the procedure better. I had always said I would never let anyone touch my back and some people said "I wish you would go to a neurosurgeon". I did research of my own and felt like I was going to be in the best of hands with Dr. Mody. My PCP also recommended Dr. Mody and he told me he thought I would be pleased and I was. The only time I had to wait >15 minutes, there was a emergency situation with a patient and I understand those situations very well and had no problem waiting. I highly recommend Dr. Mody to anyone with back or neck problems. -Ricky

Dr. Mody is honestly the best Spine doctor. He has been treating my back condition very conservatively and only suggested surgery as a last resort. Another neurosurgeon wanted to cut on me right away and I am glad that I listened to my wife to get Dr Mody’s opinion. I got my life back because of Dr. Mody and his nurse Georgia!

Dr Mody did my neck surgery. I have no complaints. Even my scar was beautiful. My sister had the same surgery by a doctor in Dallas and her scar is awful. Thank you to Dr Mody and his staff especially Georgia and Linda
