Dr. Smit has been upfront and professional in my experience. He has helped me manage some of my more severe disorders.

Plays favorites and has clear biases. Get a second opinion if you don't think his diagnosis is accurate.

I saw Dr Smit and he was not helpful with my situation,he gave me medicines that didn't work and made my post op symptoms ten times worse to the point I wanted to kill myself when I explained this to him he said that I was refusing treastment and suggested electro shock therapy I quit seeing him and taking the poisons he prescribed to me and I improved to the point of being my old self but during his exeriments it caused a breakdown in my marriage leading to a divorce, Bottom line is worst doctor I have ever seen avoid him like the plague/covid.

Doesn't listen to his patients and just keeps giving more medication with very bad reactions..Was a complete zombie and all he kept saying is you're being non compliant if you didn't want to take his meds that made you worse..I've never met a such an egotistical and arrogant doctor..If he doesn't like what you're telling him about his so called meds he diagnoses you with another mental health condition and that makes you look badly and your crazy..Not helpful at all and puts his patients at risk. Had a document put on file telling other medical facilities to not treat me and send me away..I couldn't get care for seizures , low blood sugar or bad reactions from medication..Total disappointment as a so called physciatrist.
