Fantastic staff. The doctor put me at ease, answered all my questions. When I had a problem, the secretary fit me into their very busy schedule and I was seen the next day.

Horrible doctor, was very dismissive of my symptoms and literally didn’t care what I was going through. Don’t waste your time.

My husband was diagnosed by his family doctor as having Hypothyroidism but the medicine he prescribed Synthroid made him so sick, so he took himself off of it over a month ago.
We did another blood test before we were to see Dr. Perez and in that blood work the TSH was perfect and so my husband does not have Hypothyroidism! What a relief!
Dr Perez will monitor every other month with new blood work.
We were so impressed with his office staff and Dr Perez, what lovely people. So thorough and patient, taking his time to explain everything to us. He was so kind, we would have given him a hug if we could have.
Best Doctor we have engaged with in a long time.
Very confident with his findings and wish he was our Family Doctor!
Thank you!

Is this man still practicing medicine? I had him for about a half a dozen appointments 25 years ago and all he did was sit at his desk and give me the silent treatment. He barely responded after I finished talking. I was a newly diagnosed diabetic and my blood work also revealed that my cholesterol and lipids were high and my family doctor was surprised that Dr. Perez did not prescribe a prescription for it in addition to my diabetic medication. Worst doctor I have ever had. No input or serious attempt to reach out to me as a patient. My family doctor did more to treat my diabetes than this man ever did.

I had a very bad experience with Dr.Perez. He should be banned by the college of physicians. I have very high prolactin and seeing him for 3 years now. He doesn't even prescribe treatments. When I told him about my sickness and how it badly affects my health, he only answers " Very good" which is very bad for me. I think he is a n.z.st and he drags me to be sick😡😡😡 I am going to get all my results from his office and take to another doctor. VERY UPSET😡

I had a very good experience with Dr. Perez. He has the gift of listening and it is refreshing to find a doctor that is willing to listen to your concerns.

If you do not want to die, do not even set a foot in his office. He is an out of date "doctor" with little or cero knowledge in the Endocrinology field, with no respect for the life of a patient. He won't listen to you, he do not care how you feel. He was killing me with an overdose of Syntroid, even when my Thyroid was responding he just wanted me to be sick. He never would think outside his very particular own box! Doctors like him shouldn't be practicing. He should be banned by the college of physicians. 👎

I went to Dr Perez (Hamilton, Ontario) for Hashimoto's disease and hypothyroid symptoms after moving from Alberta. He told me that despite knowing current medical guidelines that suggest TSH should under 4(or 3 cant recall), he believes it's not a problem unless its over 10. He asked me in a condescending manner why people shouldn't take thyroid medication if you don't need it; osteoporosis, and heart attack (despite me having a low pulse, low blood pressure, and a heart scan that proved 100% healthy). He did not look at my antibodies. And even though I've been on 150mg of NDT for almost a year now, he's not sure I have a thyroid problem, he assumes that my previous endo (in AB) was unsure that i had a problem because he started me on a low dose (despite that being mandatory) and wants me to not wean off my medicine but go off COLD TURKEY. Retest my thyroid in 4 weeks, and then decide what to do. No suggestion what would cause my symptoms (none of which are hyper, just hypo, no explanation as to why i have 4x's the antibodies i have, and no issue with the cocktail of other prescription drugs I take for sleeping and mood. Does not care that before my medication for thyroid my pulse was only 50, my blood pressure was dangerously low and caused me to be hospitalized.
The fact he's using outdated obsolete medical standards, accused me of making up my endo's diagnosis (and not reviewing the official blood work/medical records I have), gave me no explanation for my symptoms, or antibodies, and wants me to risk withdrawal symptoms into an extreme hypo-state. I will be looking for a 2nd opinion.
