I've been to this dental office a few times. Nothing really stood out about her as in she does her job. Pricing at this dental office is pretty average to a little bit pricey. Only reason I keep going back because of how it is like a 5 min walk from my house.

My family has been seeing Dr Lam for over 10 years, since she saw most of the younger patients (mine included) at metro dental. It's always a pleasant experience and we never got the sense that unncessary work was being recommended.

We've had to visit her office 6 times in total to adjust a denture that was made at her office. During the first try in my grandfather had complained about how uncomfortable the newly made denture was. For some reason she told my grandfather to wear it as often as possible for the next week so "she can see where it irritates his gums". So this continued on for the next 5 appointments. I don't understand how could she or why she would put a 90 year old man through all this pain and still not be able to adjust it properly. This is just borderline abuse. I have also wondered if after all of these adjustments and it still hasn't fixed the issue, the denture may not have been made properly.
This doctor clearly does not know how to work with dentures or she's taking advantage of an elderly man whom doesn't always seem the brightest (as he had to pay for the extra visits to the office). So if you're looking for dentures made here and if you're elderly, steer clear of this office. The dentures are of poor quality and this doctor does not treat elderly people very well.

Was visiting Calgary and my crown fell off. Visited Dr Lam as an emergency. Very professional and saw me quickly. Was fitted same day and was gentle and fast. Very happy with the service and my tooth feels great!

Dr Lam had been treating my whole family for over 3 years and she is always gentle, soft spoken and very patient with my 8 year old daughter. Always had a positive experience seeing her for routine check ups and minor dental work.
