Biography
Dr. Gregg Klein is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements as well as revision surgery. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center. He is also an Associate Professor and faculty member at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall. His specialties include hip and knee arthritis, avascular necrosis, osteonecrosis, and rheumatoid arthritis. He has also been recognized as a “Top Doctor” by New Jersey Monthly and 201 Magazine. Dr. Klein completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He then went on to complete both a residency and specialized fellowship training in Adult Reconstructive Surgery at The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He has served on the editorial board for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, the American Journal of Orthopaedics, and the Journal of Arthroplasty. Dr. Klein has also published numerous scientific articles, textbooks and book chapters in the field of Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement. He continues to be actively engaged in ongoing Joint Replacement research. Away from the office, Dr. Klein enjoys spending time with his wife Julie and their two daughters. He is an avid runner and skier and a frustrated golfer.
