My recent visit to MSJ emergency was a positive 5-star experience. Saw Dr. Maji and was impressed with his bedside manner and punctuality. The staff in emergency that day were also friendly, efficient and provided excellent service.

I saw Dr Rahimali Manji at the emergency room this weekend. He listened to my story about an awful experience with ENT clinic #1 and it was very validating. He helped me out by getting me an urgent referral for a new ENT. Unfortunately ENT clinic #2 phoned me today and explained that they no longer have ENTs on their roster because of a legal battle (!!) Fortunately because of Dr. Manji's prescience, he had given me a copy of my referral sheet. I was able to email this to a third ENT office and I have secured the appointment I need now! He was also accepting that I had made a mistake going to the emergency room instead of the urgent care clinic and explained why it would actually be better for me in future to go to the clinic for this type of situation. I only spent a short amount of time with him but I got the impression of an intelligent and empathic doctor.

Unfortunately I was assigned this doctor in emergency and I was quite disappointed afterward. Right away he gave me the vibe of just being there to collect a pay cheque and not about patient well being

I was assessed in emerg, no bedside manner, not willing to listen to my history of head injury. And when speaking to other Dr’s about me, simply stated I was in there for some “TLC” and then could be discharged even though I had lost consciousness earlier that afternoon. I was lucky he went home early that day as the other doctor finally listened and paid attention and looked at my drooping face. So cocky and self-absorbed!

Excellent hardly describes the level of care, compassion and care I received with Dr. Rahim Manji. I went into Emergency in extreme pain, and he made me feel as if I was believed, and I was safe and in professional care. He took time to explain and educate me on his plan of action. The whole team , Ramona, Alicia and so many others, were consoling, proficient and helpful in ways I couldn’t have imagined! Turning the lights low, making the gurney comfortable, plugging my phone in, bringing warm blankets and checking in on me regularly. When Dr. Manji advised me about the laxatives to purchase, he even typed it into my phone so I would not forget. What doctor takes the time to give patients this special care? Dr. Rahim Manji I’m so grateful you were working yesterday.🙏
