I have found Nimrod Tucker to be arrogant and surprisingly rude. He does not tolerate even ordinary questions about prescriptions or recommended treatment. He refuses to talk to other physicians you may have as specialists whose opinions you may appreciate to determine the best course of action. His records are not online and he won't let you take even copies of your records with you if you need to go to the hospital and refuses to visit you during your hospital stay (saying he doesn't do hospitals anymore) nor does he make himself available for consultation with the in-hospital physicians. He is apparently "known" by other physicians as they nod knowingly when I describe his behavior. His demeanor is dismissive when not being verbally abusive and aggressively loud in short bursts of frustration. My take on him is that he is well past whatever "prime" he enjoyed and should not be taking care of anyone but himself. Even his staff watch what they say to him and allude to his "bad days". Beware of this one. Look for someone who values you as a patient and is willing to talk your health over with you.

Excellent doctor with an excellent staff! I have been going to him for years and am always highly pleased.

This doctor is very knowledgeable ,but is reluctant to prescribe or furnish ,new items without a very short lead time to return, bedside manor ,could be better !!!
