Had a surgery done by him. He is now practicing at Kingston Ontario both Hotel Dieu Hospital and Kingston General Hospital. Dr. Phillips was to biopsy a mass in my throat. Said when he got in there he couldn’t find it, said it must have fallen off. Seeing a new surgeon who says indeed there is a mass and will perform surgery to do a biopsy to determine if benign. Also, Dr. Phillips Receptionist was very difficult to deal with and Dr. Phillips did not want to hear about it!

I think Dr. Philips is fantastic. He is very pleasant, soft spoken, thoughtful and I think he cares very much about patient relationship/comfort. He did some day surgery with me and was quick and efficient and constantly checking on my comfort. I saw him twice and in follow up he offered further suggestion that was very helpful. I would highly recommend him.

This resident is terrible! He has the worst bedside manner. He was on call when I went into emergency for my nose and it felt like he was mutilating my nose. I had a pretty traumatic experience and he didn't try to console me at all. Another patient was also seeing him and he just left him and told a nurse he couldn't do anything for him. Avoid if possible!
