Shocking experience.
Ignorant, uneducated in issues for women, quack who had the wool so easily pulled over his eyes by my sociopathic wife and child-abusing ex. Wouldn't know his arse from his elbow.
All the previous bad comments here already deleted. Only comments left are a couple of positive ones, and saying he's been put out to pasture...so finally won't be able to destroy any more women and children's lives.
What he did to our lives still has ramifications to the entire fabric and cohesion of the family 14 years later - completely turned our lives upside-down, some members never talking to others ever again after his ignorant false reports, where he couldn't see the woods for the trees. And let the perpetrator not only get away with it, but get to abduct our son with impunity. So full of pride and arrogance that he wasn't interested to listen to those before him, as he believed he knew everything already and could sum up the situation within the first five minutes, glossing over insignificant details like abuse and violence. So that abusers loved him, and their lawyers made sure he was the one appointed if it was a tricky case and their abusive client looked like he was on the line.
...Good riddance!

Wish his leaving could un-do his unprofessional and misleading report, the last 14 years of intense suffering for all the innocent parties, including my son - whose life was completely destroyed, and negative outcomes it had on all of us.
But he'll just retire with all of our money in his pockets, and leave us with the ramifications of his ineptitude.

I first meet dr kenny in 1972 he was working at travancore Developmental center in Flemington and i was under his carevforvtwo weeks at travancore after finding nothing mentally wrong with me i was given all clear every one has mental teams in there lives i guess 7 years of age can be young to have mental trama but Dr kenny even then was professional and dedicated to help you thankyou Dr Barrie kenny

Dr Barrie Kenny helped me so much a long time ago..? 40 yrs ago. I have nothing but respect and admiration for this hard working doctor and I thank him for all his help back then. I am a woman and my consultations with him were entirely professional. I hope he is very happy in his retirement. Thank you, Dr Kenny for all your help.

I commenced treatment with Dr Kenny in 1980 for approximately 2.5 years, I had hit rock bottom and was finding it hard to stay balanced and alive. Dr Kenny was always extremely professional, I cannot speak highly enough of the man. Here I am now 69 years old and think of where I have been and where I am now, I am flying, happy and nothing can stop me. I feel indebted to Dr Kenny as I am alive today and have a perfect life.

Very inappropriate for female patients. Asked a lot of inappropriate questions about my sexual life. Ive seen a number of psychiatrists over the years and not one has asked such personal and invasive questions.
