Biography
Dr. Salman Ashruf is a board certified plastic surgeon and a certified hand surgeon. He uses the latest in minimally invasive surgery techniques to achieve beautiful cosmetic surgery results. Dr. Ashruf completed 2 post graduate fellowships at prestigious medical centers across the country. He completed a cosmetic fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also served as faculty. He next completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship at the world renowned Indiana Hand and Shoulder Center, in Indianapolis, Indiana.Dr. Ashruf is a Maryland Native, he attended Loyola high school, then went to the Medical College of Ohio and after obtaining his medical degree, completed a plastic surgery residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Dr. Ashruf’s commitment to his areas of specialty, aesthetic plastic surgery and cosmetic surgery enable him to serve Maryland with pride and confidence. His dedication to his patients, their needs, and their lives has enabled him to help many people achieve their dreams. Dr. Ashruf enjoys art, reading, and outdoor sports. He is the father of four children.
