Have had 2 surgeries with Dr Anbu and overall very happy with him. He never rushes me out of an appointment, always happy to patiently answer all my questions, even when I've forgotten them during my appointment and have to then email them through. He lets me tell him what I want and then will make recommendations based on the outcomes I'm looking for.
He has been late to a couple of appointments, but due to being held up in surgery that morning which I think is a reasonable cause for lateness.
I also appreciate that it's usually fairly easy to get an appointment when I need to see him, as well as being able to book in surgeries relatively quickly - if there's something I want to address, I don't want to have to wait months to get going.

Would not go near this doctor. Does not retain patients medical background. Quick to go straight to operating, with only having one consultation.

I've had a quite big dermoid cyst on my right ovary and a small 1.5 cm * 2 cm on the left ovary which was discovered during my pregnancy. I didn't have a private insurance as well. I went to Dr. Anbu Anpalagan after 2 and half months of my delivery to seek medical advice about my situation. He guided me by understanding my situation very well. He operated me in Westmead public hospital as a private patient. I was anxious about the whole process because of the cyst size. But Dr. Anpalagan was very confident that it can be removed laproscopically. Everything went smooth and I recovered in 4 days. He is a very calm, helpfull and knowledgeable doctor. I would recommend him to all the ladies who need gynic care. I'm very thankful to him.

Dr Anpalagan was extremely patient with me while I was in hospital, he is very clam and understanding and happy to listen to all of your questions with an answer that is understandable. He is extremely helpful and happy to try anything that may help.
