Would give Zero but no option!! This doctor is dangerous and not fit to be a doctor!! He is rude arrogant and absolutely terrible to deal with!! He took my mom off her meds to die so she could give her bed to someone else! He should be sued for malpractice! He is not someone in his right mind or job! Stay away from him! Spread the word please!!!

Absolutely awful, came in for a reason and he ended up trying to change all of my medications while telling to suck it up and meditate and I’ll feel better.. absolutely awful man, wouldn’t want him near me ever again.

He gave me contradictory information over a telephone appointment and by email. Over the phone, he incorrectly said I can take a certain PPI at any time, even bedtime, as that's when my symptoms are worse. He sounded very confident, so despite this being inconsistent with advice from my family doctor (not to mention the information leaflet with the drug), I believed him anyway.

In an appointment summary by email after, he said claimed the *complete opposite* and did not admit to saying the opposite during the phone call. As he did not make it clear this advice negated his previous advice, I began taking the drug on the (wrong) schedule he suggested, and had a severe return of symptoms. Had he said his telephone advice was incorrect and to follow the advice in his email, rather than pretending he never gave the incorrect advice in the first place, this wouldn't have happened.

It's extremely inappropriate for a doctor to improvise incorrect advice rather than say nothing, not to mention refuse to admit fault.

I received an online consult from this doctor through the Ontario Virtual Care Clinic. My doctor recently retired and did not transfer me to another doctor as agreed upon, and only found this out when I called for an appointment with my new doctor, hence the need to use this service. Dr Tessier’s opening comments to me were condescending and inappropriate. He sounded convinced that I was having “Anxiety attacks” which reflected his opening comment to me with very little information to go on, other than my description of the issue in the online registration. He told me that my description of my symptoms was not correct. I will not be using this service again, which is supposed to free up health care facilities during Covid-19, if this is the caliber of doctor that I can expect.

WAS my husband's family physician for YEARS. Highlights:
- would not give him a prostate exam at 40 because, and I quote, 'his diabetes will kill him'. This was his answer for anything serious he brought to his doctor.
- Everything, and I mean anything was blamed on his weight. Psoriasis? Fat. Eczema? Fat. Allergic asthma since he was 4? Fat.
- My husband still blames him for his mother's death. He did not treat her stubbed toe agressively enough and it became gangrenous. She ended up having both legs amputated below the knee. After the second surgery, he visited her room and laid her on her back on a flat bed. She was so weak, she could not sit up on her own and ended up aspirating vomit in her sleep. Don't get me wrong, she was a very, very ill woman who likely would not have had a fabulous quality of life afterwards, but his actions on their own were extremely negligent.

I went in for a simple check up and walked out of his office stunned by the experience. In particular, and as mentionned by other patients, I felt that the lack of appropriateness of his comments was quite unusual. I was truly not expecting this....in 2019.

Dr. is as others say. Arrogant and not helpful. He needs to retire IMO. He doesn't know how to give a proper examination and cuts your conversation off as he doesn't want to hear what you have to say. Basically told me to touch my toes and said you all good meanwhile that's not the problem. I could get into it a lot more but it's too long. No bedside manner, (asked if I had skin cancer and I said no I got hit with a board and then said are you sure?), condescending, doesn't believe patients problems only interested in insurance money it seems. Calls you fat basically as other mentioned. He didn't have the correct office and blamed me for being late when I was 20 minutes early trying to find him. I would avoid this Dr. at all costs. Basically is an old school DR. and pushes you out the door saying you'll be fine , eat an apple a day to stay away. I wish I saw this reviews before insurance booked me to him and I would've demanded someone that knew what they were doing.

If you all have bad comments, please report this doctor to https://www.cpso.on.ca/Public/Services/Complaints. It's very important that you do so.

You should always record your conversations. This way you do have proof of what they say!
