Dr Gray was my pain specialist for at least 20 years and I would want no other. He really cared for this patient and was always concerned about the medications prescribed and always made sure my health was the utmost. I hated to see him retire as it has been a roller coaster ride ever since.
Thank you for all you did and cared!!!

Dr.Grey is a one of a kind doctor. He is everything you want in a doctor and more. This man and his staff saved me. On top of being a phenomenal doctor he is a kind person who genuinely wants to help you.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grey' for over 20 years. I was referred to him because I had abnormal results after several tests. He saw me walk in down a hallway towards his office and straight away he could tell by the way I carried myself that I was in bad shape primarily nerve pain. Straight away he saw what medications I was on and quickly made some important changes. He also started to go over my whole body this was a change as I have many specialists no one has wanted to know about my body parts other than the body part they would be working on. He wanted me to describe what the pain is like , "how does it make you feel and here is what we can do."He is kind a great sense of humour awesome ponytail and a very laid back approach. Not laid back as is "out to lunch" but laid back like approachable. after 20 years my disease reached the point of me being in a palliative state. After seeing me come by ambulance more than once saw my best interests in mind and arranged through home care to find me a doctor who sees palliative patients at home and boy did he pick a great doctor. You never ever have to wait, Judy the nurse is a God Send so very nice and efficient, great bed side manner. She retired but will cover vacation coverage, and maternal leave. She was replaced buy a full time nurse. I am grateful for Dr Grey and feel I owe me quality of life or my life to D Greg. It is so very important to have a great efficient nurse like Nurse Judy Because the first real contact the patient has with the client other than the great receptionist which Dr. Grey has and has had for a number of years. Grateful for D. Grey. May he have a great retirement. I asked him once what are going to do when you retire he said have that second cup up coffee and relax and read a good book.

Dr. Dan Grey has been my pain doctor for almost 17 years. He is punctual, kind, compassionate and has a wealth of knowledge to share with his patients. He takes the time to insure that your pain journey is as easy as possible. His calm and peaceful mannerism is greatly appreciated. I honestly don't know where I would be without his expertise in pain management. He has truly been a great help to me over the years. Though I am happy for him and his well deserved retirement in the upcoming years, it will be a great loss for all of us who are his patients, suffering with severe chronic pain daily and a great loss for the University of Alberta Hospital. We will take with us all that he has taught us over the years. I wish him well as his countdown to retirement has begun. And thank him for all that he has done for me as a chronic pain sufferer. I am here today, literally, because of the difference he made in my life as a chronic pain sufferer. Thank you Dr. Dan Grey for everything over the years! ! Best wishes for your upcoming retirement! You will be greatly missed!
