I had a lump on my thyroid. Mr Holland was excellent, he was thorough and professional. Bit of a dry sense of humour, which I did like. He done a lobectomy on my thyroid and it went well. Maybe his bedside manner isn't the best, but what do you want, a doctor who is a good talker or a doctor who is excellent at what he does, but isn't great at having an hour long discussion with you. He told me what I needed to know.

I saw Mr Holland today 18/12/2023.@The Royal Gwent hospital,after having cancelling his appointments twice owing to a spinal injury 9wks ago .I felt so pleased to see him and have his assessment of my problem with thyroid .He was thorough with explanations.He answered questions
He put me at my ease .I look fwd to seeing him again.He had a lovely sense of humour which was a great pick up .Thank you Mr Holland.Staff friendly and efficient too Also the junior Doctor.

I thought mr holland was in a hurry not very nice makes you think you are stupid I rather suffer then see him again in there five minutes not a very nice person

I found mr Holland very blunt when speaking to me and I felt rushed when asking questions. He answers in quite a rude way compared to other doctors I saw at the hospital.

went in for a thyroid lump. Did an examination and biopsy. He was very efficient. Polite and nice doctor who explained everything, made me a further appointment when i was there. very professional, i would highly recommend.

The first time I seen this Dr I thought he was friendly and helpful. He then done a biopsy for me and I seen him again and found him fine again. The 3rd time I seen him he made me cry. He was rude unfriendly and just plain downright nasty. And I would rather stick my condition than see him again

This man should not be treating women. His bedside manner is diabolical his empathy to the woman’s feeling is appalling. Seen him numerous times and I have felt I was an inconvenience. I have a serious problem with cysts in my breasts that I am concerned about and every time he tells me “that women my age don’t suffer from cysts”. I will complain to my doctor so this matter is brought to the medical board 😡😡
