Made all the promises in the world that he would sort my hip out. SIMPLE FACT IS, HE DID NOT!!!! I have gone through HELL with constant dislocations and multiple surgeries. It’s still not right and clearly he couldn’t care less. Highly not recommended and wish I could turn back the clock and have gone to someone else.

Dr. R Mclennan-Smith did a revision hip replacement on me and I can only praise him the way he worked and in detail explanation of what he did. After only 3 days it felt like I can walk without any aid. But I'll rather stick to the rules. He is highly recommended by me. Davy Slippers

I still can’t understand how he put a ‘recalled’ hip replacement in me which caused me immense pain for years and then I had to go to him again and pay exorbitant fees to have it removed and have another one put in that still DOESNT work and still causes me SEVERE pain!!!

I have had both my knees replaced by Dr McLennan-Smith and can only speak highly of him. After much research and seeing many doctors I felt confident and at ease. Had my first one done November 2019 and my second one now in July 2020

Rude and dismissive when it came to dealing with the fact that he had messed up my hip replacement.

I trusted this man with my knee replacement, and then the early revision (for which he blamed me). He completed dismissed my concerns and after visiting another surgeon it turns out my concerns were real and they were missed by him and I required a further urgent revision. Thankfully all is now well. His arrogance and ego know no bounds.
