Pompousness and ego take on a whole new meaning. I met Dr. McCall in the Emergency room. She insisted I did not need any more tests. A few days later I deteriorated and had to spend a week in the hospital. You may think you are a God but you were wrong --Retire Please

I have on several occasions met with this doctor. She's upfront with you and gets to the point. You may not like how you get there, but she's fair in how she deals with people. She over saw my sister at Meaford long term care. and was kind to her. She also agreed to review her medical record which filled an entire paper bin because she was treated so badly in Oakville Ontario. She sure demonstrated to me that she cared and cared to listen. I understand that there are others with different opinions and that Doctors can't be right all the time but this lady did far more than most.

I was absolutly disgusted with her. I will not be going to this hospital again only because of her. Very judgemental and rude. I will have to commute to owen sound or even collingwood I dont understand how she is still employeed. Enough is enough.

I saw Dr McCall in the Meaford Hospital ER. I was sent by work after a severe pain in my knee when lifting. After 3 hours I finally saw McCall and after hardly looking or touching my knee, told me it was just arthritis, that I should lose 20 pounds and get back to work. The next morning I was in so much pain I could not use my leg. Went to ER again in Meaford, saw a different doctor, who took x-rays and set up a MRI for a possible MCL tear. The staff at the hospital was great, but Dr McCall left much to be desired.

I was looked after by Dr. McCall during a recent visit to the emergency department at the Meaford Hospital. It was my first ER visit as a patient, and my first visit to the Meaford Hospital, and I was impressed by the fast, efficient, thorough and respectful treatment that I received by all the staff there. Dr. McCall was kind and knowledgeable. Despite quickly diagnosing my primary concern, she took a great deal of extra time to address other issues that may contribute to maintaining and improving my overall health in the future. I did not expect such a comprehensive consultation in an Emergency department. Dr. McCall's approach is direct and no-nonsense, but I feel that she is a very caring, intelligent physician.

Dr.McCall has been my family doctor for many years. Her staff is incredible. Sue Richardson, her in office nurse, is such a compassionate person and treats all patients like family. Dr.McCall in my experience over many years under her care and as a patient in emerg. at meaford hospital, is very knowledgable and thorough. I had a condition in emerg that required emergency surgery, she diagnosed it almost immediately, I had the same condition again that required emerg surgery and the on call doctor at hospital took hours to send me for surgery. I am very glad to have such a knowledgable and caring family doctor.

This doctor does not care at all. When confronted about medications, she attempts the "you are crazy" or "you are aggressive" attitude towards you. If necessary to prove HER point, she will and has called the police. In case of a lawsuit she can prove that you are unstable or anything else she can concur up. She runs unnecessary tests the same day she hands care over to another doctor because she states, "I am no longer capable of giving you the care you require". The patient in questioned just needed to be kept comfortable to die. She is telling you she hasn't got the skills to let you be pain free for your final days? I thought Doctors had to exam patients before prescribing narcotics or increasing their dosages, because at the Meaford LTC, the only person looking after you is a Nurse who is making guesses and passing them onto the Doctor. Really she is NEVER there. Never raise your voice in concern or question anything or she will show you who's boss and it isn't you.

This doctor does not care about her patients at all. It would appear she is in this business for the money and uses old people as her guinea pigs. She must get a kick back from the prescriptions she puts them on because she has been known to prescribe numerous medications that are not necessary. I wonder if she gets paid for her work at the nursing home in Meaford because she is NEVER there and apparently yells at the staff when they have to call her for a concern on one of the residents. It's time that she retired and someone that actually cares about these people took over.
