Dr. Whitty was the family Doctor for my whole extended family for 43 years. We all love the man and cried many times when he passed away in December 2022. A very big void is left for so many of his patients that is going to be hard to fill from this time on.
Thanks to this wonderful man and his family, for the many hours he dedicated to patients care.
He and his staff will be incredibly missed.

I have been a patient of Dr Whitty for 44 years, my whole life. He knows my entire family, the history. I heard he passed away this week, sad news. There is 1 exam room with Muppet wallpaper that I always loved being in. I was in to see him at the end of October and everything went well. RIP it was a pleasure to know you 😀

Heartbroken to hear of Dr. Whitty’s passing. I got to know him years ago when he made house calls and when I accompanied my Mother and Father to their appointments with him. My parents thought the world of him and I was beyond grateful when he took my husband and I on as his patients.
I have never met a more compassionate and caring Dr as well as a Dr who could make me laugh while also feeling that I was well taken care of. I think of him as a friend. My heart is broken for his family and the world has lost a truly wonderful human being. I hope you are flying all of the aircrafts. Miss you and may you rest in Peace. Love, Cheryl

My heart is broken over the loss of this gentle man. He has been my Doctor, my friend, my shoulder to cry on and trusted confidant for 44 years. I feel blessed that i had the opportunity to see him two weeks ago and can still feel the warmth of the hug we always gave each other before saying goodbye. I will treasure the memory of that hug for the balance of my days. To Lorna and your children and grandchildren i say thank you for sharing this amazing man with the rest of the world. As much as i was always grateful for the time he spent not just with me but with all of his patients, i have always felt guilty for taking him away from his family . A less dedicated man would have taken down his shingle years ago in order to spend more time with you. I sincerely wish that you all could have had more time with him. He is quite simply the best human i have ever known. I will miss him all the rest of my days. Love you Dennis

one of the nicest person I have ever met Dr. Whitty was my Dad and Mom's doctor since the early 1970's when my dad had his stroke and when my Mom could not leave the house Dr. Whitty would make house calls . He said it would be easier for me then take them in a wheel chair . He was the most caring person I have ever met . He was my Doctor for about 22 years , always there to listen and explain everything I was going through . It is very hard to express how I feel about this man , I can say I loved him so much I felt he was not just my Doctor but my friend . I want his family to know they are in my thoughts , prayers and my heart . He will be missed . Rest in peace Dr. Whitty you have touched so many hearts and will be missed by so many

I had the wonderful opportunity to work with Dr. Whitty for many many years. Since leaving his practice we remained close friends and he was always willing to help me through the challenges I faced after losing my mother and later my own physical challenges.
We spoke almost daily for nearly 19 years. He was always there for my children when they needed medical attention.
I had a feeling on Sunday when I tried to text him that something was wrong because there was never a time he didn’t respond.
That amazing Doctor was dedicated to every patient that wakes through his door ! He taught me compassion in a sense that no matter their problems, their way of life, their downfall and mental health, they were all to be treated equally and with empathy.
Dr . Whitty based his whole life caring for everyone no matter what walk of life . He continued to do house calls in his big grey truck. He loved hunting and flying was his passion. When my two sons were younger he took us up in his plane ! It was his passion although it left us all a bit green in the face with some of the flying tricks he didn’t mention he’d do. Undeniably he knew what he was doing and it left us with an experience and joy to have had the opportunity of taking part in something he loved.
I can’t ever say enough about Dennis but I know he wasn’t ready to leave yet. He had too much unfinished business. There were times he was at the office at 5 am and worked until 9 pm . I could go on forever about how much I’m going to miss my dear friend and someone who gave me the inspiration to carry on. In his words he’d say “up and at ‘em “ when I’d forgotten how much I’ve achieved in life and with my two amazing boys he’d be sure to remind me. They also are so so saddened as they just had seen him a few days ago for a short visit .
Dear Dennis , I hope you have the opportunity now to finally do and see all the things you’d talked about .
Go do that hunting, fly high on the skies. Just remember that you left a legacy in all of the people that know you and loved you dearly.
My years of working with you were the best years of my life and I’ll never ever forget what it means to treat people with compassion as you did.
My tears continue to fall for you as it seemed you were indestructible.
Rest in peace Dearest friend and may your family find comfort in each other.
My phone may be silent now but my memories will always remain .
With love , Brandon, Matthew & Maryann
