I agree with others who rate him as a angry and uncaring doctor. Make us keep paying or we were cut off from appts with him. Although my husband was given the death he still make us keep hope. Took pymt sent us to Weston for radiology while my husband of 50 yrs was in wheelchair. Had stroke. Terrible doctor. Never even cared was so rude. Horrible person stay away frm him. And Cleveland clinic. They keep him employed!

Sorry to say Dr. Bastos was not as knowledgeable as I expected. When he recommended that I switch to a new particular medication in the market, he told me he'd use it for himself if he were in my shoes. When I asked him what were the potential drug interactions, metabolic pathways of the drug and what did the studies show in efficacy vs the drug I was currently on, he paused and had to look it up. It made me wonder why would I take his recommendation when it was obvious he was clueless about the medication. Sorry, but it is instances like these that can kill my trust in a doctor's recommendation. Nice guy, but I cannot recommend him.

Dr. Bastos is total joke. His level of expertise to Lung cancer. He always has smile but when it comes to answering questions or follow-ups he has no clue. I read many bad reviews of him on the boards. I met him twice and he disappointed me both times. He is clearly not there to help cancer patients and order many tests that he never provides in his consultation notes.

Is this doctor for real? I met him for lung cancer and he was not able to provide any info about my patholohy. It takes about 2 mins to review it but he did not spend the time. No examination. Will notvgp back to him.

I have never felt so rushed and belittled by a doctor. He makes you feel bad about asking questions, and will actually mock you. I will never return to this doctor. There are good doctors out there who care. Don't waste your time and health on this guy

Completely missed the stage of my lung cancer. His current note always contradicts his previous ones. He is not easily available and dont do proper follow ups. He likes yo pass the buck yo other physicians such as ENT without even making referrals .

Never returns calls. Encounterso are very short. Doesn't provide any answer. It is all about money and how much he can bill by ordering tests that are not required

Never felt so alone and rushed at appts. Conflicting info given. After having perfect CT scan 5 months later lung cancer. Always leave his off. Feeling like he has little interest in my care. Never given a plan..things change and have lost all trust in the care and concern we should be given. All about money..have to research info that should have be given to me freely.
