Dr. Bigelow has been our family physician for more than 20 years & we consider ourselves *extremely* fortunate to have benefited from his care during this time. Claire has not only provided flawless, thorough and professionally administered 5-star medical treatment for my parents, my brother and I, but he has been a dear friend to the family, often-times provided sage personal feedback, advice and compassion that one simply does not expect from a doctor these days. With the internet providing a lot of up-to-date, in-depth medical info now, I have carefully researched a variety of ailments before going to Claire for an examination, only to find that he is extremely well-read, well-educated, experienced and current in his knowledge of all things medical. He occasionally gives back to the UBC Medical School by having young practitioners in his office to learn by his side. He always asks if this is okay first. Claire also puts in a lot of hours at the hospital emergency ward and does other paid & volunteer work outside his office, including being involved with administration & research groups. Thank you for being there for us throughout the last 20 years Claire...as our family doctor and our friend.
