I just want to give a big Thank You, to Dr Zechner for the Compassion and Love she shows in her work, I have two little Grand Kids 4 & 6 years old, they absolutely adore their Pediatrician.

Thank You Dr Zechner for always going that extra mile.

Dr zechner is a excellent doctor with my girls. But the receptionist there are terrible sometimes rude and I've been trying to call for three days now and no one answers. And I really don't want to change doctors cause Dr Zechner knows my girls she was there when they where born. Now to find someone else is stressful. I think they must look for another receptionist.
Cause all the reviews I have seen lately has to do with the receptionist ladies so something needs to be done.

This is the second time I have had to deal with the receptionist and she never seems to disappoint... The first time I phoned to get my son in to see the Dr. because we had recently moved to the area and he needed a new pediatrician. When I phoned I explained that my son is autistic and doesn't speak, just so that they were aware. It was just for a general health check-up anyway. The receptionist then said that she had to check first if the doctor would see a child 'like that'. When she came back to the phone she said that it wasn't a problem (of course not, but anyway) and asked if he had heart problems... so I don't think she knows what autism means.

Fast forward to today. I phoned and said that I had gotten a concerning video from my child's school and wanted to know if the Dr. could have a look to make sure it wasn't something life-threatening. I never really got to explain more because I got a tongue-lashing for about 10 mins about how ridiculously unfair I was to phone and ask the Dr. to have a look, because she cannot possibly diagnose like that (not that I was asking for a diagnosis) and then repeated how unfair I was, how unethical it would be (to look at a video???) and how long ago exactly my son had been to see her (because that makes me a bad customer I guess). All of this while telling me the Dr. isn't there anyway, but continuing to tell me how unfair I am. I tried to explain that his other two specialists were not available and I just needed to alleviate my fears by running it past a Dr. Anyway, I guess me an my 'unfair' behavior will go spend my money elsewhere. Oh and btw, his other two specialist's receptionist were perfectly accommodating and helpful and nobody had a look when last my son had been to see them to try and guilt me.

Not coming back until there is a new receptionist.

Excellent doctor.
Pity I have to change to a different pediatrician because the receptionist is extremely rude and racist. My mum and older child were basically chased out of the practice and told that they shouldn't be allowed at the entrance while another mum and dad were sitting with their child. The dad woke up quietly and said he'll go. And in afrikaans she apologized so much while my mum and son were kicked out. I cab pay R 400 cash and my medical aid can be charged exorbitant rates by a different pediatrician. Thank you. Mind you she's been rude since I started coming there 3 years ago. This last visit was the last straw

Dr N. Zechner is a pediatrician with a passion in her work. She knew exactly which direction to go, to be able to diagnose my 2 year old. I will advise any concerned parent that struggles to find a solutiion to see dr N Zechner. Thanks to her Milly is being treated by the applicabe specialist.
