This clinic and dr it’s a joke . Completely unprofessional.
After they cancelled my appointment 3 times finally I got to see Dr Sophie .very expensive appointment also she made me with an hour because she was on the phone. Than after seen her . She referred a CT I got it done after a week . It’s been more than two months waiting for a letter from her so I can get private health insurance. I’ve been chasing her for weeks . The answer is next week… never happened. So rude person on the way she expressed herself. I don’t recommend this clinic to anyone.

From walking through the front door to surgery and after, everyone i have encountered has been exceptional. Definitely deserves 5 stars

The staff are rude. The “doctor” runs late and gives no apology. She screams at her staff. You’re expected to pay for your surgery 10 days prior to having it and then you need to chase your receipt to be able to claim from your insurance company. The doctor certainly likes her money and it shows!

I was referred to this doctor by my dentist on 8 September 2022 for follow up following a tooth extraction (he had identified something unusual within the underlying jaw area). My dental practice was in contact with the doctor's rooms at least twice and they relayed to me that they would be in contact shortly. Nothing. I then made three calls to the doctor's rooms asking about the status of my referral. Initially I was told that I needed to get a more detailed scan which was organised. On the second and third occasions I was promised follow-up action. Nothing! Totally fed up, I asked my dental practice to refer me to another oral surgeon and Dr Mougos's rooms was advised of this on 20 October 2022. Needless to say, I found the whole process very frustrating and stressful. Thankfully, I have recently had the required surgery from a top oral surgeon who indicated that the cyst in my jaw line needed to be removed sooner than later to prevent further complications. Based on my experience I would definitely not recommend a referral to this doctor.

Do not go to this oral surgeon! My son had four wisdom teeth removed by her. The dentist sent his x-ray to her and one of her staff then rang us. We had an appointment with her at her office opposite St John of God Subiaco. We had to wait 45 minutes over the appointment time. She didn’t even look in his mouth. Just looked at the x ray and said all four had to come out. We were then shuffled next door to the accounts department where we were told that we had to pay upfront, just shy of $2 000, 10 days before the operation. That visit cost $150! We had to pay the money and send proof of payment. We received a reply email saying that on the day of the procedure we would receive the itemised receipt that is required to make a claim from the health fund.
The operation was done at Bethesda Hospital. My son nor myself never saw Dr Mougos. When I picked him up, we were told that we had to go to a pharmacy on Stirling Highway to collect painkillers, as the script had been sent there. This was massively inconvenient, as my son was a right mess and in considerable pain and all he wanted to do was get home.
The next day, 24 hours after the operation, we received a phone call from a woman who works for Dr Mougos. She told us that my son’s sinus has been damaged during the operation and that a piece of skin was taken from his cheek to plug it up. And that he was not to blow his nose for 10 days and if he needs to sneeze to do so with his mouth open, as otherwise the pressure could blow out the plug. Would have been good to have been told this when I picked him up the previous day! And she said to take the antibiotics prescribed. So obviously we say what antibiotics? She said I’ll check with Dr Mougos if you need them. Hours later she rings back and of course he needs them. She then told me to email through what pharmacy I want the script send to. I do this and ask them to let me know when they’ve done it so I can go and get the antibiotics that he should have been taking the day before. Hours go past and the pharmacy is going to shut soon. I ring them. Oh yeah we’ll sent it she says. I go to the pharmacy, and they have not sent it. So I then email them and say I am at the pharmacy, please sent the script!! I sit there waiting and eventually they do. Just dreadful.
And getting a medical certificate was just as frustrating. On the day of the surgery, I rang to ask about it and they said it would be emailed later that day. It was not. I rang the next morning. Still it wasn’t sent. And on the three other phone calls regarding the antibiotics we also mentioned that we urgently needed the medical certificate. We eventually got it, but it was like pulling teeth!
As was getting the receipt to claim from HBF. It was not sent on the day of the procedure as promised and of course we had to put pressure on them to get it and did eventually two day later!
So my advice is do not touch this woman with a 10 foot barge pole!!

Dr Mougos is very kind and knowledgeable. Staff were very busy but were always helpful. Dr Mougos explained costs/medical procedure/post care very clearly and succinctly. My surgery was scheduled quickly, went without a hitch and I am very pleased with my wisdom teeth extractions. Thank you Dr Mougos and team.

Don't bother with this rude woman or her extremely rude staff. Go elsewhere and be treated by someone far better.

Wouldn't recommend this" doctor" at all. Always seem to have staff in training and they are rude and obnoxious. All I wanted was a rough idea on how much I was looking at for one implant and I was told that all that information would be given to me at the appointment with the doctor. I called one day and pressed for more information, which was not given (again) and was actually hung up on! Will be making sure that everybody I know does NOT go to this person!

Regarding the comments made on 15 November 2021 below.
These comments were not made by the patient. Dr Mougos was in fact very helpful during a very distressing time for me
which was made even worse due to the fact that lockdown was in place due to Covid.
Dr Mogous went out of her way to help me in this instance, even booking me into a private clinic.
I cannot thank her enough for her help during this time.
I would recommend Dr Mougos to anyone.
