Absolutely brilliant neurosurgeon. Really helpful and clearly a top specialist in his field. He performed a spinal fusion on myself and the results and care given were first class. I would recommend that anyone with concerns in this regard look at his practice before any other.

Dr Jeän Joubert se personeel is vriendelik, flink en altyd in beheer van enige situasie. Dr Joubert self is vriendelik, innemend met 'n wakker waarnemingsvermoë. Toe ek in 'n rolstoel in sy spreekkamer ingestoot is, omdat pyn my daarvan weerhou het om self daar in te stap, was dr Joubert selfs bereid om my op 'n Saterdag te opereer. In sy eie woorde: "Om jou te verlos van hierdie pyn". Sy pasiënte is duidelik sy prioriteit. Ongelukkig is die spasie tot my beskikking te klein om al die deugde en positiewe ervarings wat ek van hierdie man beleef het op te noem. Baie dankie dokter, ek sal jou oral aanbeveel. Seën op jou pad vorentoe.

What a brilliant, considered and highly skilled doctor. I was operated on the 8th of February 2022 and he is also in on te latest technologies used in the industry.

This Dr saved my life 14years ago ,I passed out on my Vespa and had not secured the helmet on my head as I was only going a short distance so why fasten the helmet. I paid a heavy price , a neurosurgeon was not available at wilgers pta.
At the time Dr Joubert was working at the old HF and he was called in to help out

I finally managed to track me down at Eugene Marais 4 years after saving my life so I drove out one morning to meet this man and to look into his eyes and thank him for what he did

At the meeting he told me his wife was the anesthetist was also told during surgery his wife did all she could and fought to get my blood pressure under control.

After the brain or head injury call it what you like he addressed the family sitting outside the theater all he said is " I have done the best I can if he pulls through tonight he will be lucky"
Thank you and your wife Dr Iam still here stronger than before, I will never forget you . At the time I missed my twin boys 1st birthday today they are 15 years old .

He ruined my life. I had three cervical fusions. When I pointed out problems that I feel in my body and that my hardware was loosening, he was rude with me infront of other patients. I have no quality of life left. That is just a small part of my story and experience. While he can sleep comfortably I cannot even get a hours sleep day or night. I'm in constant pain 24hours a day. It was the worst mistake of my life to go to them.

What a wonderful, highly skilled and absolutely brilliant doctor! Very professional and compassionate towards people suffering pain and discomfort. In my opinion the best neurosurgeon in South Africa. He is truly an instrument in the Almighty's hand and I wish him and his team all the best!

Drs Joubert and Basson were excellent Thank you very much I underwent numerous back operations in the past My lower back was crooked due to previous operations Now it is straightened I perform limited " normal " duties again which I could not do in the past I could hardly walk Now I walk one kilometer daily What a pleasure.

He was rude to me he knows a lot but to tell a patient to have a spinal and neck fusion and to tell a fitter he will resume normal duties within eight weeks lifting 10 to more kilos and to bend and climb perfectly he should really go see what men do on crushers and mines
