Amy was my midwife for all three babies. Her kindness, knowledge and skill were what every woman deserves. I loved her ability to calm my nerves, relate to my experience and help me make just the right decisions. She spoke respectfully and never pushed me in any one direction, just guided me to make choices that were right for me. I would recommend Amy and all the midwives at Countryside Midwives!

I had Amy at my 2nd birth and she was my mw through my entire 3rd pregnancy. I loved her and her warm, caring personality. If I would ever have another child, I would request her as my primary midwife.

Appears to be knowledgeable but very opinionated. Suggests she is there to provide information and will support the patient but she does not listen. She comes across as pushing her own agenda. Appears scatterbrained during appointments and does not take down adequate clinical notes resulting in a lot of duplication in appointments. She shows a lack of character, speaking poorly about other healthcare professionals including other midwives in her practice. She is unprofessional in her general nature, rolling her eyes during discussions, scoffing when questions about certain topics are asked and it makes the patient feel small. Did not receive the patient centred care that was expected by choosing a midwife and felt like just a number, instead of a human. Overall it was a terrible experience and will not consider midwifery care for future children as a result.
