Unfortunately he does not give the impression that he has time to talk to you nor cares what you have to say. He is also uninterested in any new treatments or discussing other options. I absolutely do not recommend.

Had an appt and he had his rude MOA call me 15 min before telling me Oyler refused to talk to me because I had a conversation with another neurologist. My GP referred me twice because she thought he was good but based on this and the reviews on this dr he certainly won't have to worry about seeing me

Dr Oyler and his secretary have always been pleasant and helpful with me. He is always willing to give me the medication I ask for and is knowledgeable about new treatments for migraines. The only reason I'm giving four stars is it is difficult to get a hold of them by phone. I call hours before lunch and they do not answer.

If there was a zero rating that is what I would give. Took my developmentally delayed daughter to him when we moved here and after 25 years of epilepsy he told me her siezures were non epileptic and to seek psychiatry...this of course is a very abridged version of events...chased psychiatry for 4 months and then she died of brain damage due to uncontrolled epileptic activity..she was 28 years old...He is arrogent and truly thinks his words are gospel...Run away!!

TBI, Onset of Uncontrolled Seizures, 4 anti seizure medication at 35 he was my "local"Neurologist. I largePrivate LTD, Municipal Gov. and CUPE....I woke up after 4 days on Life Support having Seizures and he "disappeared". Never heard from again. Luckily I personally made a few calls using documentation and am now in a Epilepsy Investigation/Brain Surgery Unit. He never called back, all calls were made the same day. That should give you his "base" irregardless of your personal interactions. Have a good day. Unfortunately he cant denied any of this and may soon have to testify in court in the LTD case "Fired for having a seizure in his work truck then fired by a guy that hid behind a bush and watched." say the Federal Gov. and Brain Trauma Specialist across the country not on the "payroll" of a 4 billion dollar insurance company. Canadian Taxpayers are "covering" the load right now.

I've had nothing but positive interactions with Dr. Oyler and his staff. I found him to be very knowledgeable, and caring in a professional, to- the-point manner. I can see how someone expecting a personal relationship with their doctor would misconstrue this as rude, but that was not at all the impression I had.

I also had to see him in the ER and would refuse again with great prejudice. I felt marginalized as an older woman. Did not listen to what I or my patient advocate had to say. I felt dismissed with arrogance.
