Kind, informed, and conscientious. Really listened to my concerns, didn't ridicule any of them, even my smallest worries. She was there with me when I delivered and after. She will go over appointment time in order not to cut you off. She is an incredible doctor and I will continue to drive over an hour for our visits.

Worst doctor in her practice, very rude and ignorant. Made the birth very stressful, and completly rushed through. I would not recommend her to anyone, in fact I don't see how she's still in the practice!

The staff at this facility is very rude. They don't acknowledge you at all. Just hand you papers and say "insurance card" and "$20". As for Dr. Clark I had to wait over an hour in the exam room which doesn't account for waiting in the waiting room for 45 min. And I was the second appointment of the day. They don't return calls even when they tell you to call them about something. I will not be returning to this office. As a nurse myself, I know there are much better physicians and practices out there.

Dr. Clark has been my GYN for a number of years. I love her. I drive several hundred miles now after we moved from the Durham area. When I had a bad mammogram she called me immediately and reassured me. She has always been very considerate and compassionate. Even though she always run behind and I don't care much for the front office staff, I will stay with the practice because of Dr. Clark.

Very rude and arrogant, did not take my concerns seriously. I have seen all doctors in that practice and this one is definitely the worse!!!

I saw all of the Dr.'s at this practice and Vivian Clark was my favorite. She answered all of my questions about gestational diabetes, my high b/p and went over the details of delivery when asked. Her assistant was terrific, and very helpful. When I had to go in for a stress test and things weren't looking good, she sat with me and made sure I was okay and comfortable. Dr. Clark also was there at the hospital and while her visit/check was short, she wasn't rushed and I was happy to see her. The office staff, on the other hand, are the WORST! Rude, argumentative and just plain snotty. When I showed up 20 mins early for an appt., they told me I was an hour late. When I showed them my appt. card, she argued with me about it. That was my last visit to the practice. The wait was too long, and the attitude of the rest of the staff wasn't worth the drive I had to make to get there.

I was treated by every member of the Durham Hospital OB team during my rather long stay at the hospital. of all the doctors, Vivian Clark was the worst. She was rude and too speedy and careless with me. She discharged me from the hospital even though my blood pressure was still very high, and I had to be readmitted. She also told me that we wasted my time in the hospital and she would have given me a csection. When I visited her in the office before I had my baby, she rushed me through and refused to explain anything about gestational diabetes and put me on an antidepressant that was unhealthy for my baby and couldn't be bothered to give me a correct dosage. I will refuse any treatment from her in the future, but I love her practice.

One of the worst doctors I have ever visited. Arrogant and a know-it-all. She stripped my membranes without telling me and totally rushed my labor. Definite ego-maniac.

Very rushed and very rude. Sarcastic comments, did not want me to speak. I kept wandering what I did to deserve such treatment. Her staff was also hostile. This was third visit, the first one was not friendly but not hostile. It was efficient and competent. The second was just ok. Waited months for an appt. She is a Money machine period.
