I would not recommend this Doctor for children. After my child’s 4 yr check up told me he probably has SPD, Dyspraxia, possibly ADHD, severe speech delay and possibly hearing problems. She also said he would need OT because of immature handwriting. She suggested a paediatric assessment and speech assessment. This caused me so much stress. After taking time to think about it getting an all clear for hearing I decided to see how he went at prep prep. He’s thriving. His handwriting is spot on and and has excellent coordination. For someone who specialises in child health seems clueless about child development.

Kathy has been my GP for 2 years and is the best I have ever worked with. She is very knowledgeable, caring and patient.
She will take as much time as you need to talk through any issues that you have and she does not brush anything aside (as some GPs do). If you are concerned or worried about something, she will investigate it for you (even if it's only for your peace of mind).
Blackwood Street Medical Centre is a very nice clinic and all of the doctors and staff there are lovely as well.

I can not praise this doctor enough, Kathy is the most delightful, professional and kind GP we've ever had. She is incredible with babies and goes far and beyond what your average GP will do. She even changed our little ones nappy for us! We just love her and would recommend her to anyone. Better yet, she's punctual!
