It took me almost 2 years to move forward with upper eyes, cheek & mini facelift. The day of my surgery, during the final consultation , I had added a few more things to be fixed like filler put in my smile lines and fat taken out of my chin.
Dr. Sofonio is truly an artist..He didn’t try to upsell me. The goal was to keep me looking natural. If I had to do it again he is the one for the job!. If anyone is looking for this type of surgery, he’s got to be the best.. I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I searched far and wide, and could’ve choosen any surgeon.. Dr.Sofonio had the best credentials and his approach to customize a plan that just fit me…he is definitely not a one size fits all. And Wow.. I am such a scaredy-cat and I do analysis to paralysis on things like this, but I have to be honest and saying that this completely exceeded my expectations.
Oh and by the way …it got me to quit smoking before my surgery .I know kind of an expensive way to quit but in the long run I’ve probably saved a lot of money. Got a two for one… the before and after pictures, don’t lie what a huge difference. Thank you Dr Sofonio and to Kay my blessed nurse who stayed with me the first night. I will add the before and after photos once I have them.

I've been having laser treatments at Dr. Sofonio's office for several years and was very pleased with results. I've aged and I decided to go with the mother of all lasers-CO laser. Everyone in the office was very knowledgeable and supportive. The office is also immaculate, well lit, and comfortable. I am very pleased with the result of the CO laser. My skin is firmer, less wrinkled, and an even skin tone. I will definitely continue at his office and highly recommend him.

I was very apprehensive prior to surgery and Dr Sofonio met with me twice and explained everything thoroughly each time. I am very pleased with the results. The follow-up with him and after care with other staff are excellent. The entire team are professional and personable.

I went to see Dr. Sofonio 5 yrs. ago. I had laser; full face lift; upper/lower eyes & neck. He is the absolute best. I looked very natural & rested. I saw him again in Sept.21' for a refresh to my eyes & lower face. I spent a lot of time over the years in the sun so my face elasticity wasn't good & I took care of my skin with serums & creams but the sun was the worst thing for my skin. His work from 5 years ago was still wonderful but I could start to see that my eyes were starting to show that tired look (it runs in the family) & my lower face was beginning to show jowls. I wanted a touch up so I met with him & we discussed what could be done. He explains everything in detail to you so you can make an informed decision. He listens, he doesn't push you into any procedure. I did get the refresh & again it is just what I wanted. He is an excellent surgeon & cares about how you look. There's no puffy lips or wind tunnel look face. He takes the time with you so everything is understood & I never felt rushed. I will say again that Dr. Sofonio is an artist that cares about you & the result. His staff is always professional & friendly.

I am a repeat (customer) patient of Dr. Sofonio and again, I am thrilled with the results! Dr. Sofonio is a very kind man with a good sense of humor. He took the time to really understand my concerns and provided careful suggestions. And, I cannot emphasize enough how great his support staff is! The office is beautiful and convenient with no need to go to an ER. His prices are very reasonable; and believe me, I am not a wealthy woman!
