Another nephrologist that treats me as if I am an amoeba bothering him. Doesn’t possess any compassion for me. Doesn’t foster any sense of trust or inspiration in regards to my own care!

Dr. Villeneuve is a very caring, open and honest physician. He is always very thorough with both testing and explanations. He also takes the time to talk and understand where his patients are at not only physically but mentally as well and during these covid times, that is so appreciated. I have had a couple of appointments over the past couple of years that had to be moved but I was asked about a new date/time what would work. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Villeneuve as a wonderful and caring doctor.

He Informed me after one round of Chemo that my Leukaemia wasn’t treatable, I should go home and die. I sought treatment in Montreal, now I’m a successful stem cell transplant patient one year later!

Too many appointments that last 5 minutes for information that could easily be given over the phone. This is a considerable pain and puts an elderly patient at risk. Staff reschedules hospital appointments that we have made without our consultation. This causes conflicts with other doctor appointment and causes considerable inconvenience. Has little regard for the thoughts or feelings of his actions. Arrogant behavior.

I had an appointment with Dr. Villeneuve today. I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the first review, but I was very surprise and pleased. Very nice, explained everything to me . He will do more test to reassure me cause he's confident everything is good. That to me is a good doctor that cares about his patients. I got there early and they took me almost right away. Very nice and polite staff. Don't believe all the negative that you read see for yourself first. You will be surprise.

I have known Pierre for over 10 years. He is by far the most caring, knowledgeable, disciplined and professional doctor I have ever seen. I was looking for him on the internet when I got across this review. As a healthcare professional myself, I must say, we are all human and medicine doesn't have all the answers. This said, I have nothing but high esteem and trust to Dr. Villeneuve. Ottawa is lucky to have him!
