Go somewhere else. The PA Alex is clueless and asked me to spell the names of the medication he needed to prescribe -- run, don't walk as fast as you can away from this place.

While this is not a review for Dr. Tyson it has to do with her practice and substitute. I was told that I would be seeing Dr. Tyson, but when I got there she was actually on vacation. This seems like something the receptionist should have told me when I scheduled my appointment. As a new patient, I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I was asked to sign in and after waiting 30 minutes, was given new patient paperwork. After about an hour and a half I was taken back for a nurse to take my vitals, but she quickly stepped away and returned about 10 minutes later. I was put in a room and asked to get undressed and I waited in a freezing room for 30 minutes until the doctor finally came in. The doctor was apologetic and explained that Dr. Tyson was on vacation. The entire appointment took 2 1/2 hrs. I headed to CVS to get my prescriptions only to find no one sent it in. Worst experience I have ever had!

I find her office much improved. I also find that I can always opt not to be seen by a PA.

Dr Tyson took over our previous Dr. Riley's practice a few years ago. Dr Riley was a very good doctor--Dr. Tyson on the other hand, always handed everyone in my family off to some PA who was always reading from notes, not very assuring. I found the receptionist(s) very rude to not only myself, but other patients as well. One time in particular I went in for a chronic condition I have been suffering for since early childhood. The PA prescribed to me some pain meds to get me through the rough spot, but it was not enough. When I called back to get more (were talking two more days worth),the doctor argued with me on the phone saying she has never heard of issuing pain meds for my condition. I quickly retorted, that she is all knowing & seeing--witnessing every ailment to mankind (God Complex)--maybe she was, since I have never seen her. Anyway we filed a formal complaint with CIGNA, and have since found a wonderful MD for my entire family. I suggest you do the same, Beware!!

I ALSO have yet to see Michelle Tyson. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment they said she wasn't there. I saw her PA. I scheduled a follow-up with the PA when I showed up they said the PA wasn't there. When I came out of the the appointment with the doc they passed me off to...the PA was standing in the hallway. THEY LIED TO ME! I feel like I am at a free clinic when I go there..and I am a paying patient!

I've never actually seen my doctor in 2 years. I get shuttled to students or nurse practitioners. I sometimes wait for hours for sub-par help.
