Awful dentist. Went for initial exam and he informed me of work that was needed. Told me I would need 7 fillings. Really? What I was not informed was that he took out old fillings to replace them. Not that I had 7 cavities! Should I have known this, I would not have allowed it. So after some work and a bill up to $600 I was done with him. Ended up having to pull 2 teeth later that he worked on. I believe he needed the money for his hair plugs. Just overall a bad experience.

All comments are true! He does NOT care about any pain you may experience. Had a temporary post put in and for a week I experienced headaches while I waited for the cap to be made. Then when I went to have the post completed he had to inject more Novocain because the procedure proved a little more difficult. When he was done his assistant states, "Sorry we had to butcher you a little bit." WHAT?!?! Who says that?? The pain went straight to the back of my head and was so bad that I cried all the way home. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST!!! Here's another reason - any dentist that says, "Lock and load" just before he begins to work on your mouth -- RUN!!!

I cracked a tooth called dr zilker he looked at me the next day. He filled the tooth without cleaning it first, after a week i wand up with an abscess, i called complained about pain at least twice, he took xray and because nothing showed he sent me away, i went to hospital and the dr told me it was an abscess i went directly to zilker and it took forever to clean and get rid of the infection at least a month,. He still charged me 245.00 for the filling he put on my cracked tooth even though it was only in a week. I think he planned it that way! All i know he was not gentle during the root canal procedure and just acted like i was inconveniencing him. After about 6 months my filling came out and pin was exposed, he never put on a crown, i went to. Different dentist and she was awesome and i have no issues whatsoever with my crown!

We took our 87 year old mother, who has dementia (and he was advised of that), to have a crown re-cemented. That was ALL we wanted him to do. We were grateful that he "worked us in" and told him so, but also told him that was ALL we wanted him to do. Dr. Zilker took x-rays, cleaned her teeth, did a new pt. exam all to the tune of almost $400. All unauthorized and in my opinion unnecessary. I called back to request the x-rays to be sent to me, as she would not be returning, and was told they were not our property and to get them (even though we paid for them in full) I would need to come in, sign a form and pay $25.00 for a duplication fee. Why would they need to be duplicated since we would not be back, I asked, and was told it was their policy. I feel my mother was blatantly taken advantage and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Stay away from this man. He did 5 root canals and caps on me. 4 off them fell out within a year. He also cleaned my teeth and he popped a crown off, and than charged me to put it back on. Also re did a root canal that was two years old and didn't bother me. Than I find out insurance wouldn't pay because it wasn't in my mouth long enough (think it's supposed to be for five years). He knew this. So than he sued me for the money. I went to the hearing and the judge didn't want to here how horrible of a dentists he is. So now they want to arrest me. This man doesn't care about his patients, all he cares about is taking there money. He's ruff rude and uncaring.

Do not use Dr Zilker. He is very unprofessional and rude. There are hundreds of dentists in the Lehigh Valley. Do yourself a favor and pick another one.

This was the absolute worst dentist EVER!!! My very 1st visit with him was extremely unpleasant; he decided that my old silver fill-ins were not worthy of staying and decided to remove them all and replace them with the natural color fill-ins. I didn't realize at the time he was doing this to milk my ins. company but after I went back a few times because I was in so much pain I saw that he had no regard for what I was going through. Dr. Zilker can care less about his patients and he doesn't care if he hurts you while he's working on your mouth, not to mention his rude and unprofessional dental assistants that almost made me choke to death by not using the suction properly!!! I had to undergo 4 root canals due to the botched up work that he did on my mouth; and I DID NOT use his services for this. I advise EVERYONE to stay away from this dentist, oh and just for kicks and giggles his office is trying to send me to collections for not paying $75 for an appt my husband was unable to make.
