I have never been so disrespected by a health care worker in my life on multiple occasions. Every time that I have met with her it has been a negative experience. She is very dismissive and disrespectful if you or your child are having symptoms of pain or are having troubles in any way. If you feel you know what is going on, she will make you feel like you are wrong. When discussing an issue for the first time i tried to explain a physical pain and she instantly, without any testing, made forward comments about it being all in my head and presuming it was more likely to be a mental health issue. (what a typical presumptive diagnosis when there is no other explanation) It is doctors, N.P's etc. like this that make it so people suffer in silence instead of getting the help that they need out of fear of being degraded and unheard. If you see this, I am sure you mean well, but please try to have more compassion and listen to people instead of assuming and only going by your own opinions to decide what treatments/tests someone deserves.

She is quick to assume that you haven't already tried a, b, and c before coming to see her. While she may appear to be sympathetic to your problems, she is stubborn and once she has decided you have a condition, you cannot reason with her. No one is perfect, but she has misdiagnosed enough members of my family that I no longer trust her opinion. Once her mind is made up, it is hard to get her to listen to your concerns. She also hesitates to prescribe, which can result in multiple visits for the same problem.

The best nurse practitioner I have ever had. Ewa (pronounced Eh-va) is kind, gentle, thorough and every bit as knowledgeable as a doctor. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment with her, she’s amazing.
