Dr. Boxer is a kind, friendly and very knowledgeable doctor. He always goes out of his way to provide me with everything I need. He always makes sure I understand everything and that all of my questions are answered carefully. He is one of the very best doctors in Vancouver!

Excellent doctor! Went above and beyond. So friendly and took the extra time to explain everything to me in details.

Everything said about this doctor is so true! One of the worse I have ever seen. I had a CT Scan which was sent to him, he never looked the result! Considering that I don't trust him, I asked for a copy of this CT Scan. Turn out I have a serious pancreas problem!! It seems that he will retire soon -going to late!!

Most terrible walk-in experience I have ever had. Extremely rude and dismissive. Refused to make eye contact. I left the clinic being untreated for what I came in for. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have unfortunately been seeing this Doctor for 2 years, because until today I could not find a Doctor without a waiting list.

Incredibly dismissive.
Unfriendly.
Might as well be working on a car and not a human patient.

Kept repeating the same treatment for a chronic issue despite it not working.

Today I spent less than ten minutes in his office, and he literally told me "I don't have time for this, I have to leave early today" and left the room.

Reopened an anal fissure while giving me an exam because he assumed it was hemmroids (even though I told him a Dr at a clinic overseas had said there was a fissure/wound)

When I try to discuss anything mental health related he absolutely will not. Gave me a pamphlet.

He should probably just retire.

If I could give him zero for helpfulness and knowledge, I would. Clearly only interested in getting people in and out as fast as possible, doesn't care or have an interest in patient concerns, and he's very abrasive and rude. He will ask a question and then dismiss your answer. Doesn't have basic manners, didn't even make eye contact or turn around from the computer to talk. Went in with concerns about a skin rash and he didn't even look???? Don't waste your time, don't give him patients.

When my test results were inconclusive he told me it must mean I was getting better and to stick with the ineffective treatment I was on, despite me telling him repeatedly that the treatment wasn’t working and I was not getting better. The specialist he referred me to eventually figured it out (saved my life) but Dr. Boxer never even asked me about it, the specialists files are unopened on his computer. My last visit with him, he googled copper IUD and then mansplained how they work by reading me the internet for 5 min. I didn’t ask how they work, I know how they work I’ve had one for 5 years. It felt like he was reading about them for the first time. Once he had my renued prescription I told him I would make an appointment at the OBGYN clinic where I am comfortable going. He cut me off and told me that he would have me get it done at his clinic, that the “ladies do a good job here.” He was running 30 min behind so he brushed off my next question by telling me he had a really hard packed week and needed to get to the next patient, I had been with him for about 6 min. He said I should book another appointment some other time because HE had a busy day. Like I didn’t wait in the waiting room just as long as the next patient, like I didn’t leave work early to see him, like I was suppossed sacrifice my wellbeing for his comfort in a way that he was unwilling to do for me, as my health care professional. I honestly feel that there is a substantial amount of gender bias going on in my interactions with him. I’m sure if you’re a middle aged man you receive excellent and knowledgeable medical advice from this Dr.

Was seeking PreP, which had been pioneered at BC CDC for HIV in downtown Vancouver, minutes from his office. He had no idea what it was, didn't bother to even look it up, decided to consult infectious diseases, and rudely ushered me out of office into waiting room. I was asked to wait for indefinite amount of time. Obviously I left after reasonable time and still have not received any follow-up information.

Horrible. Very rude and arrogant . Vaste of time. I came with sharp pain and he even did not look at my toenail, just prescribed antibiotics and told me to change my socks twice a day. Is he really a doctor???
