I had a blepharoplasty done by Dr. Yates. Best thing I have ever done for myself. So happy with the result. So pleased,I am having a reduction mammoplasty with him in the future. My experience with him as a surgeon and his staff were exceptional.

Run if you value your life!! I had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Yates when I was 16 years old for both a deviated septum and cosmetic. and two weeks later I started hemorrhaging from my nose one day. I hemorrhaged all day long with huge clots of blood, soaking towels and clothes. My parents kept calling him and asked if I could come to the emergency room. He told my father that "she was a nervous woman." After hemorrhaging for about 5 hours, I was taken in. The nurse gave me a bucket to bleed in. He came down from surgery and packed my nose with gauze and I bled through it each time, soaking my clothing and towels. He was extremely annoyed and had my nose packed down to around my throat area. I was in so much pain and crying. The next step was to insert a balloon all the way down my nasal passages about 8 inches down to cauterize. He actually said to me, "I can let you go home and bleed to death if you want." I am left with a hole in my septum about the size of a half dollar.

I had my upper and lower eyes done by Dr. Yates. I really had only considered having the lowers done but it was suggested I also get the uppers done. Should have never listened. I had very soft eyes before and after the surgery I did not look like the same person. It took months for my eyes to heal and the emotional scar is still with me. It has been 5 years since this surgery and I wish I had my eyes back . I still have the scars on my lids and they just do not look natural. Worst decision I ever made

Dr Yates was kind and so was his staff. The one thing that is very disappointing is that he used old medicine. He did a breast augmentation and he out my implants on top of my muscle, thus developing a severe case of capsular contraction. I went back to let him know and made me believe that I was the only one in his whole practice and experience that developed the side effect. He said he was going to fix it for 5,500. I found outs most doctors fix bad jobs for free. I went to Dr. Wolf and he was very assuring and fixed my implants, and dr. Yates bad job. He said that my sutures look like train tracks and told me no one uses these sutures anymore and no one puts implants on top of the muscles. Every PS puts them under. If you are looking at getting implants, please research. Tools are out there. Search engines are out there. Dr. Wolf has the highest rating and he has the kindest staff. I paid dr. Yates $8000 in cash and it went down the drain. Expensive mistake.

Just horrible!!!!! spent 3000 on Laser treatment IM HAIRIER than before ....They said NO REFUND RUN RUN RUN !!!!! GO ANY WHERE but there. Just awful !!!!!!

Be careful here. This Dr. is practicing 70's medicine. He is not up to date on fine surgical technique and should probably not be practicing. He performed a breast reduction surgery on me in 1996. I had requested to see his partner at the time, however, his partners schedule was booked months out. I was then referred to Dr. Yates with the understanding that all surgery is alike. Oh how wrong I was. He used external sutures to close the incisions and I can count every one of them. I talked to many other patients in my town who have used his partner and they have no marks because he uses disolvable stitches. Not only do I have these unsighylt marks, but my breasts look terrible. The are not the same shape and I have a difficult time getting clothing to fit properly. Do me a favor. Look for someone else.

I had a breast reduction done 8 years ago. I was totally disappointed in the results. My incisions were crooked, not along the crease, my sutures were external and spaced far apart - you can still count how many sutures there were - there are puckers. As the incisions healed, the scars were straight lines from suture to suture. The worst part, that still bothers me, is that he used a scalpel to mark where the incisions would be. I was awake. At the time, I just didn't know any better, but I've asked other doctors and patients, and no one has ever had that done to them. I did have a scar revision done 3 years ago (new doctor), as my scars were huge, and there were "dog ears" left under each arm. I am in my 50's and could not wear a bra due to the large scars. HealthAmerica paid about $18,000 for the first surgery, and another $11,000 to fix it. So, obviously, I would not recommend this doctor. I hope I was polite.

I've gone to Dr. Yates several times. He has removed cysts from my head, face and back. I will continue to go to him. I like his work and kind manner. He also gave me several consultations free of charge. If he is availabe, he will see you the same day you call.

I used Dr. Yates years ago. Didn't do half bad job, but that was, if this is the same man, 30+ years. No considering his personality I would not use him today.
