The best doctors I have ever had he told me off when needed to and got me out of a horrible time he is missed

Pick 'n Pay Shopping Centre on DF Malan Drive, Windsor Park, Johannesburg in the seventies. Our first family doctor, a youngish guy at the time (we're in our seventies now :) ). His Dad was a doctor in Johannesburg. He looked after our first little baby daughter, I remember him holding our little darling in his arms, screaming with the pain of a hernia - diagnosed by Michael as such and fixed by the appropriate surgeon in Parktown Clinic. Years later after emigrating to Australia from the UK in the early eighties we just bumped into a Drs practice at Macquarie Shopping centre, Ryde, and 'lo and behold there was Michael's practice in full flight! We walked in, sat down and were handed a script for Wyndham Chablis :) (he was just being funny!) We stayed with Michael for a number of years since that time, until we moved to different parts of the world (back in Oz now :) ) . Michael if you're reading this, you're a bloody MENSCH! I'm sure you have not changed :) ... I've been back to SA many times as part of contrived business trips, as I'm sure you have been, but it's a dicey place... My sister and brother in law still live there, in total denial of course ! :) As we say in Oz: "Love your work!!!"

Great Doctor. Tonnes of experience. Great sense of humour. One of the few old school Doctors around. Doesn’t need to research google to give you a diagnosis. Would definitely recommend. Would be One of the busiest doctor In the eastern suburbs. Grant

What a Gem. Need more like him. Basically just saved my life. Could not thank him enough. Called me while I was in hospital to see how I was doing.

Best family doc we have had. I have had him as my Doc for the last 35 years. Very knowledgeable and experienced.
Comments above are complete rubbish . He has a great sense of humour as well.
