Dr. Moelleken performed a facelift/necklift on me. I still have jowls, still need a neck lift, the "live fill" that I paid for was so minimal as to be undetectable, and I now have really bad scars for which he would not accept responsibility. I personally came to sites like this before I chose him, and wish others would have been honest about their results. I paid over $50,000. I am writing this to help others. I am a real patient with truly subpar results. I would advise anyone considering him for facelift/necklift/live fill surgery to look elsewhere. He looked right at me and said he thought the results were good. I now need to go to another surgeon, and pay twice. Don't make the same mistake. As a side note, when a patient requests a copy of office records the physician is supposed to supply them with 10 days...I still have not received my records.

Finding a plastic surgeon can be a daunting task, especially if you live in the Los Angeles area. There are plastic surgeons everywhere. How do you choose? I wanted to have a mommy makeover that included a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Being a 5' 5" girl and having two 8 lbs. babies can due wonders on a woman's body. After some research I narrowed my search down to two plastic surgeons. After both consultations I chose Dr. Brent Moelleken in Beverly Hills. I didn't have to look any further. I liked Dr. Moelleken because he is a pioneer plastic surgeon whom is continually trying to improve his craft. He is a doctor whom enjoys his work and is innovative, which showed me that Dr. Moelleken has a desire to grow, learn, and continually strengthen his skills. He is very knowledgeable, patient, sympathetic, thorough, and honest. My consultation went smoothly and he gave me my options. He thoroughly explained the difference between a full tummy tuck and hybrid. He also explained what some other surgeons do that may change the appearance of your body after surgery, such as disconnecting the umbilicus and cutting the upper chest muscles to have more cleavage (Read up on it.) I decided to get a hybrid tummy tuck which allowed for my scar to sit a lot lower than with a full tummy tuck and a breast augmentation. I had my surgery on June 20, 2016. I was very nervous, but everything went smoothly. The anesthesiologist and nurse made me feel reassured and comfortable. After surgery it is recommended to spend at least one night at Serenity a post surgical recovery center. Right before surgery the nurse asked me if I wanted to have the car service drive me or have an ambulance take me to Serenity. I chose the ambulance since I wouldn't have to get up after my surgery and the anesthesiologist can keep me comfortable longer. I am so glad I the nurse explained this option. I am very happy with my results. It has been 3 weeks and I am healing very well. Dr. Moelleken is a wonderful doctor and his staff are very sweet and supportive. I would highly recommend him to anyone. My breasts look great and they will take some getting use to, but the results are phenomenal. My breast scars are right at the crease. My tummy looks great and immediately after the surgery you can see the hourglass shape. As the swelling has decreased my tummy looks flatter and my waist is slim. My scar is extremely low and I won't have a problem hiding it. I am now wearing the silicone strips to reduce the visibility of the scars.

Dr. Brent is absolutely amazing! I've had 2 reconstructive surgeries with him and both were a huge success. The first surgery I had a tummy tuck. My stomach muscles were so separated from pregnancies that I had 5 hernias from it. Dr. Brent fixed everything without using mesh and made me as good as new. The recovery from that surgery was hard and painful but well worth it. I'm such a worrier and ask a lot of questions and Dr. Brent always got back to me in minutes all days of the week about all of my concerns, worries and questions. He's so reassuring, patient and knowledgable.
The 2nd surgery I had was to have my Breasts redone. I was born with Pectus excavatum and my breast never looked normal. I had breast augmentation when I was 18yrs old by a different surgeon to make them look more normal. 20 years later one of the implants popped and moved and my breast looked very odd once again. Dr. Brent did an amazing job repairing them and making them look amazing! This is one of the most difficult surgeries and Dr. Brent mastered it and didn't have to use mesh. He used all of my own tissue in my body to repair my breast implant pockets. I couldn't be happier with my decision to use Dr. Brent and would never trust or consider using any other Doctor In the future. I live out of town but he's definitely worth traveling to for the best results. You won't regret it.
Everyone in Dr. Brent's office is so helpful and we love Penny! She's so sweet! I stayed at the after care place and I really recommend it.
