Not a good experience , running multiple rooms and I mean running , impatient and abrupt , when my appointment was booked by his receptionist , Debbie, I asked about the X-rays, She told me they had them and he had seen them and would discuss this at the appointment , during the examination . with x-rays a critical component he told me he didn't have access and hadn.t seen them and all he could do was tell me I should have handled this differently , and to continue with the therapy. A total waste of time. One of the two lied to me and I don't think it was him , He appears to be competent and knowledgeable but he also needs to take a step back and have a good look at how he runs this show , My wife sees his colleague Dr. Van Brenk and can't say enough nice things about him .

I've had three surgeries with Dr. Nimigan - each time the relief and improved functionality in my hands was marked and life changing. He is knowledgeable, fast and doesn't waste time - ie. surgeries were booked quickly and the work was done. I can highly recommend him if you need hand, wrist or similar surgical procedures. His staff is prompt and appointments run on time. Overall

I never met such a rude doctor. He kept making comments about my personality. He constantly talked over me and then has the never to tell me not to be rude and stop yelling.
I gave him the paper that had the code for my x-rays. He said he didn't need it and tossed it to the side, "I already have access to any x-rays". If so, why was I told, prior to appointment to bring that paper which cost me $5.00.
What annoyed me the most was his use of, "if". If you had gone to emergency, if I had seen a surgeon first, if I had x-rays sooner, if, if, if.
If your parents had used birth control!

What a rude man. He has operated on both my hands, although I was leery about going back for the second one. I now have constant pain in both hands and wrists. He also removed two basal cells. When I told him two more had come up in the same spot, I was told not to make a fuss and that it was an itchy scar. However, my own family Doctor has now removed them both and yes, they were both basal cells. I will not go back to him although both hands are not right. He talked very loudly to me before he even got into the room where I am waiting, so that the whole waiting area can hear and there was very little interest after both surgeries. The first operation ended up infected and I ended up at Emergency at the local hospital to get some antibiotics. He was away and unreacahable, and no back up Doctor apparently. No, I will not be going back there.

I had a referral to Dr. Nimigan as he was highly recommended by a woman I’d met. I was previously seen in Toronto at the onset of COVID by another specialist who did not follow up with me despite messages by my family doctor (and me) on his voicemail. Dr. Nimigan sees his patients with the door open, speaking loudly so everyone in the waiting room can hear everyone’s appointments. After 45 minutes, I was brought to the examination room where Nimigan proceeded to ask me why I was there If I live in Toronto. I explained I share my time between my two homes. Nimigan continued to ask why I was there. He tried acting very confused why I would have been referred to him and not back to the original specialist. He made a point of making me feel small. He finally asked to see my hands where he bluntly said I have osteoarthritis and there is nothing to do. He proceeded to undermine my family doctor by saying “bumps on hands” over and over. He asked why I was there and if it was a diagnosis I was looking for, then there it is. He walked out. Said he’d send the diagnosis back to my family doctor scoffing. I didn’t see him as I got up and the receptionist didn’t even look at me as I left. Nimigan is rude and cocky. Horrible bedside manner and obviously thinks a lot of himself. I wouldn’t recommend him. I left feeling horrible.

I have seen Dr. Nimigan several times most of the time he has been personable. My last appointment he was condensing rude conceited. I have never been treated so poorly at a doctors before. Surgery skills are excellent, but bed side manner is severely lacking.

Rude, made personal comments about my personality, talked over me, wasn't interested in looking at my surgical healing once surgery was done. Compared me to other patients in a negative way. Very impatient, insulting.
