Dr. Allison helped me open up and learn to trust psychotherapy once again. I had a unfortunate experience with another psychiatrist, which led to not trusting the system. Dr. Allison LISTENS, which is simple but so essential when it comes to psychotherapy. He has a kind demeanor and is soft spoken. These qualities along with his knowledge of mental illnesses and their complex treatments are all vital in building a strong trust Doctor/Patient relationship. Dr. Allison has helped me get through the most difficult of times. I have chronic depression and am pleased to have him as my psychiatrist. I highly recommend him.
