Patel does very little dentistry himself. Delegates most procedures to untrained or poorly trained young women who do poor quality work, then say they will pray for you! Dentist conversed with assistant while doing procedure instead of looking at what he was doing. Procedure started before anesthetic took effect. Assistant put in badly fitted temporary crown; felt as if adjacent tooth was being pulled out during removal. Second assistant cut gums while removing excess cement. Staff rude and dishonest, refusing to give accurate price quotes until procedures are underway. Fees twice what other local general dentists charge for private pay ($1,000+ for a front tooth). Additional $100 fee if you don't come in for a follow-up appointment within their arbitrary time frame (but they won't tell you that up front). Was charged for five visits for the same tooth. Must pay at visit; will not bill for services. Office changes appointment times last minute at their convenience. Office and/or equipment not clean: contracted a bad infection during a root canal, then was denied a prescription for sufficient medication to combat it. Many better dentists nearby. Would not recommend this one.
