The first thing you are asked for when checking into the office is to sign a multi page form agreeing to see the doctor acknowledging he has no malpractice insurance and you agree to get treated without this insurance. If you question it they will ask you to leave or sign it. That should have been a clue to leave. After waiting to see the doctor, he ordered more tests, although I brought an MRI that a radiologist tech could even see the problem. Before this test he was going to do a minor discectomy. After the test he only wanted to perform a stim implant, that I found out later would have made my problem worse. He was the second neurosurgeon I saw in Naples and he was covering a problem caused by the first one that treated me with a bad surgery. Finally I left Collier county to find a better neurosurgeon that was able to fix the problem the first one caused. When I asked for Dr. Gerber's notes they were full of lies and contained information never discussed with me. BEFORE you have this person(?) operate on you please first review his notes and read as many reviews you can find. In fact I recommend staying out of Naples for neurosurgery!
