For many years I did business with Dr Briggs until recently when all that ended. I went to him for an exam and discovered I needed new glasses. They submitted the forms to ODSP and about a week later I got a call from his office. The lady on the phone said ODSP did not approve the glasses and it would cost me $300+ to get them. At the time I did not have that kind of disposable cash and could not get them. A couple years later when ODSP closed my file my worker asked why I refused the glasses. I told her that I had not refused the glasses and what had happened with the phone call from the optometrist office. She told me they had indeed been approved and that the optometrist office had sent a reply back that I had refused them. I had not refused them, I only refused to let them double tap me for them ... pay out of my own pocket and then they would have billed ODSP again. Not what I would call a reputable business. 15+ of doing good business ended that day ...

The staff at this office is very helpful, willing to go above and beyond expectations. Dr. Briggs is very knowledgeable and is easy to talk to, he listens when you tell him what is wrong. I would recommend this office to all my friends.
