Recently underwent a total knee replacement at NW Hospital where Dr Jonathan Shirley was the Anaesthetist.

Couldn’t speak more highly about this experience. At 76 years of age it was my first major surgery and I was apprehensive about the whole process.

Jonathan is obviously highly experienced but it was the friendly, relaxed and humorous approach from Jonathan (and his staff)that made my surgery a far better experience than I could ever imagine

I could not have asked for a better anaesthetist and assistant a very caring and reassuring team for my knee arthroscopy. After many general anaesthesia this was by far the best recovery I was so impressed and have no hesitation in highly recommending Dr Shirley.

Dr Shirley made me feel completely calm and at ease, he is such a lovely man. Everything was done quickly and efficiently in a way that mimimised my anxiety, and I did not feel the needle going in at all. I cannot recommend him highly enough. An absolute gentleman.
