Dr Mulholland did my tonsillectomy. From the beginning he was so thorough as well as realistic when it came to how painful the recovery would be. He explained the risks and the benefits. I felt so safe and taken care of the morning of my procedure. He went over everything again and made my anxiety much better. He was professional with me and his staff. I would recommend him to anyone! I feel as though he is a good face for the otolaryngology future of Alberta. Great doc!

I have been struggling with hearing loss and it was unclear what the cause was. Dr Mulholland spent time talking to me and explaining the possible causes and was the first doctor to come up with a treatment plan for me. He was 20 minutes late for my appointment but that is because he doesn’t rush his patients.

Dr. Mulholland came into the office and told me about 30 reasons why my issues could be happening before even assessing me. I asked him to do an assessment and that would help narrow down the "could bes" By the time I left I had information on things that had NO connection to the problem I was experiencing and felt like I was not helped at all. Told me he could do some procedures to help my issues but it could in rare occasions cause other issues. But if it could help, wouldn't a doctor try? - Felt like a waste of time and seeking a second opion.

Dr. Mulholland cancelled my appointment on three different occasions. At first it was shifted due to a surgery and OR time, which I completely understand. However, the OR day was apparently cancelled and he wanted me to come back on the original date (which I agreed). I later received calls that he decided to take those days off completely from his clinic and my appointment was pushed back another two weeks and then later rescheduled again. All the while I am juggling childcare and work schedules. It was disappointing to say the least. After waiting for 45 minutes at his office, his care seemed good, however the way he runs his clinic and the respect he pays to his patients' time and schedule need work.

Superb doctor. He is punctual and takes the time to answer all your questions.

He botched my septoplasty and made it harder to breathe than before he operated, and when I went back for multiple follow-ups he dismissed my concerns and said I only needed to improve my "nasal hygiene". He gave me instructions on how to do a nasal rinse (as if I hadn't been doing them for years already), said he would follow up, and never booked another appointment. Avoid if you like being able to breathe through your nose!

Dr. Mulholland is so helpful and clearly cares about his patients. He was honest, upfront, and took time to answer all of my questions and explain things to me at my level of understanding. I am confident in his expertise and I am thrilled that he is the one to perform surgery on me. With his level of care, I am worried he will burn out. Please don't burn out, Dr. Mulholland! You are amazing!
