We were very sad that Dr Leong closed his practice in August 2022. We really liked Dr Leong. He was very knowledgeable , caring ,and very helpful to my husband and I. We wish him the best but really hope he will come back to a practice. Do hope he and his family are well! We are still searching for a replacement.

I see Dr. Leong for work related medical exams. I find him knowledgeable, punctual and empathetic. He has a strong will to understand his patients, more than what may be comfortable for others. This I like about a Dr. If I ever needed a new GP, I would hope Dr. Leong would take me on.

I understand how there are positive and negative reviews on this site for Dr. Leong. There are times when he has been attentive and kind and then at other appointments he has been impatient and curt. I understand it is difficult dealing with a lot of peoples' medical issues but I believe a professional should try to maintain a civil manner at all times. All in all, I have received good care from him.

Once again this gem leaves all his patients high & dry. He did the same exact thing with his Victoria practice with many patients only receiving 2 days notice via robo call altho the award winning bush league reporting at Chek claimed otherwise and couldn't comprehend the fact of calling Herald Street to hear automated message. As usual, Chek can't get a story or their facts right or straight and spewing lies about people leaving well wishes on some stupid website.

He's $$$ hungry along with being a extremely arrogant & condescending POS. Someone like this can't be trusted to medically care for anyone which he has proven time and time again with his antics and conduct. I went to initial consult with this winner and walked out within seconds of him entering the room and finding out what he's all about it. Cry me a river about blow hearts trying to defend him and his so-called "personality". If doctors want to be paid appropriately, are they willing to finally start treating patients properly with respect and listening? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Dr. Leong was my family doctor when he was with Herald Street Health. I see several comments about him being rude and egotistical. He does have a personality but when I visit the doctor I'm looking for medical advice not a visit with my best friend. Not being a physician, I can't comment on a physician's competence but I can say he is serious, intense, and thorough, all traits I want in a doctor.

I quite liked him when he was my doctor at Herald St. several years ago. However, when I phoned to make an appointment one day I was told he was "gone" and given no more information except later when advised about my records (for the third time that my doctor moved on). Very surprised to get a call today from Medical Records to tell me he was closing his practice at the end of August. I hadn't known he was still around and was certainly not a patient. Was lucky enough to find a Nurse Practitioner.

Run away. Rude, condescending. Zero follow up. No advocacy. I hope he is pre retirement and the job posting at the clinic is to replace him.

Dr. Leong has been my doctor for the last 7 years (maybe more). I got into his practice when I had a medical issue that was being ignored by multiple walk in clinic doctors. He has helped me many times get immediate specialist appointments when required. He has a casual approach which works well with my personality, but always listens to my concerns and suggests possible solutions. The staff at Mill bay medical isn't the greatest compared to his staff he had in Victoria, but I'm not there to see them. I am thankful to have a family doctor, and thankful that it is Dr. Leong.
