Dr. Faruqi performed a hysterectomy on me 12 years ago and put in a transvaginal mesh that I didn't need without informing me of the risks. Three months later he removed a piece of the mesh that eroded into my vagina. Intercourse remained excrutiatingly painful thereafter and now, the mesh has extruded again. I am having it removed at great expense by one of the few surgeons capable of doing this. I do not recommend Doctor Faruqi as a surgeon and strongly advise any woman he recommends transvaginal mesh to to walk away.

I was with Dr. Faruqi for my first Birth at St. Mary’s Hospital. Although knowledgeable, has experience and SEEMED kind, he rushed through the whole thing. I had contractions yet he still wanted to increase my contractions even quicker (was increasing them every hour) even I was clear I wanted a natural birth. Kept sending in the residence to break my water stressing me and giving me no time to progress naturally. The residence said “better to break my water then sit here doing nothing” and then he comes in saying “ no we’re breaking your water now and if you don’t progress in one hour we are doing a c-section”. Of course ended up with a c-section and, like two other people said, was told to wait 5 min. but began the surgery right away! Felt EVERYTHING the anesthesiologist was trying to calm me down and felt so bad yet the anesthesiologist was very clear on waiting 5min (My baby and I were not in an emergency situation) yet he didn’t! Until the numbness kicked in it was like being tortured. He even told me that I will always have to have a c-section yet another Doctor slipped to say “ya but he always says that to everyone then looked at me and said but you know he is right with a nervous smile”. You can be sure I’m never going to St. Mary’s again nor having him as a Doctor.

Dr. Faruqi is one of the most knowledgeable and kind doctors I have ever encountered. He operated on me for endometriosis when every other doctor turned me away, and helped me have a baby when 4 other clinics had failed me. His compassion is exemplary and I owe him a huge debt of gratitude for both saving my marriage and giving me the gift of family. My only complaint is that he is harder and harder to get an appointment with because he is so popular. Can’t say enough about him.

I was his patient for more than 10 years, "treated" for complex Endometriosis, and still not controlled. 4 surgeries later and years of unsuccessful treatments, I can't get an appointment with him anymore. Over the years, they tried to get me see other doctors from the clinic many time and each time, I leave with only a future appointment with Dr. Faruqi because they don't know my file and don't know what to do with me. Complete lost of time. Now it's just impossible to get an appointment with him at all, the very rude secretary refuse to give me one since he now prioritize the fertility patients. He is definitely focusing on the money side more than anything. Leaving patients with pain and problems on their own, because he doesn't make enough money from prescribing endometriosis treatments. He was very helpful for the first few years, but then it just got worst and worst with time. Staff changes a lot. Almost every appointment there would be different people. Not even mentioning the fact that he's always super late, I would be in the waiting room for almost 2 hours, get called in then wait in the Dr. office, pants off for 45 minutes... very very awkward.

I am now looking for a new Dr. that is happy to help FOR REAL women, not just take their money.

He is one of the worst doctor I have seen in my life. He doesn’t have time to explain anything, after almost two years with him, he asked my wife “do you guys have children?”. He is passionate about money and not about success. If you want him as your doctor be prepared for a lengthy process without any support from him or his stuff. Pathetic style; vast majority of the clients are immigrants from other countries, thus, it’s easy to do whatever with them cause they won’t take the matter to court.

Dr. Faruqi, is one of the best doctors I have ever met, he saved the life of our daughter via his fast and wise decisions he made, thanks to him my daughter and wife are both safe and in a good health. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart

Dr Faruqi est un excellent médecin, son expertise est indéniable, il est très à l’écoute, il est très empathique au problème vécu ainsi qu’aux
conséquences pour la patiente.
Je me sens très heureuse et chanceuse de l’avoir comme médecin pour des problèmes de fibromes utérins.
Je ne comprend pas les gens qui font des commentaires négatifs, je trouve cela injuste pour un médecin qui a visiblement un grand cœur, avec des qualités humaines tout en conservant une grande capacité professionnelle et de connaissances.

Dr Faruqi is the best fertility doctors that there is in MTL. After losses and struggling with infertility, I am SO glad I found him. He found the issue, fixed it by surgery and got me pregnant. I am now 23 weeks pregnant thanks to him! I never waited long at his clinic and the staff were always amazing.

Dr. Faruqui is very knowledgeable. I trust him and I was able to have a baby when 3 more Drs. did not succeed.
