Had ambulatory surgery last February, 2012 for stents and severe complications. Never spoke to me or my family to inform me what happened. He might be knowledgeable but he kept everything a secret. Had to call my regular cardiologist to get me discharged and inform hospital what I needed before I was released because even the hospital didnt know what to do with me. Catheterization is a diagnostic procedure to let us know exactly how we the patient is doing and to give us information so we know what course of treatment is best not to be withheld from us and to be used for your classroom or research lab. Requested all my records and CD of Cath and drove 4 hrs to my original cardio surgeon who moved to Maryland to review and let me know what he thinks happened & make sure i was ok. Its a horrible feeling to feel like you are going to die during a cathterization and to be given no explanation as to what caused this or what happened. We are human not quinea pigs for your lab.
