Brilliant surgeon, made me laugh when I was scared for my first surgery. I wish he didn't make me laugh post op though, it was painful haha. I was lucky to have him for both of my surgeries.

Richard is very straight to the point. I didn't find him overly empathetic, and found him hard to read - almost too professional. However, I also found him extremely knowledgeable and he did my surgery as well.

Does not have a good knowledge base about endometriosis and adenomyosis. Failed to recognise that my IUD was incorrectly fitted and causing me extreme amounts of pain. Tried to prescribe me a medication that would've interacted horribly with my other medical conditions. I could not recommend him less.

Dr Richard Dover of CHC NZ is first class. If you want the best in obstetrics & gyneacology, then this is the Doctor to see. He will listen to you, and give you the information and time you need to make an informed decision. I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish with his clear communication, efficiency, and skill. He is TOTALLY AWESOME. I wouldn't want anyone else looking after me. I trust him fully and completely. FIVE STARS.
