Terrible practitioner. I don't think she likes contact with patients. Hours of waiting to get simple blood test results. She can walk through a crowded waiting room without a glance or a word and not turn up again for 2-3 hours. She can declare an anti-coagulant prescribed by an emergency room physician to be none of her business. I don't know how she gets away with it -- and she does.

She dont care about yourself.

Long wait times are a serious issue. I have waited 2 hours for a simple 5 minute checkup, though I made the appointment weeks in advance. Making appointments is a nightmare as you have to leave a message and have them call you back to arrange a time, and it can take several days to return your call. If you can't answer when they call, they leave a message and require you to start the process all over again. Very frustrating and inefficient.

Waiting times up to 3 hours even if you do the blood tests the day before. Impossible to reach her office at St. Mary's as the staff never answer the phone (goes to voice mail)and are generally unresponsive to patients. Takes a week to return calls. Doctor may be excellent within her area of expertise (thrombosis) but does not appear to research illnesses/diagnoses/treatments which are out of her area hence the information she relies on to make diagnoses or decide treatment can be outdated and misdiagnoses are possible. Perhaps other patients have had better experiences but mine was 85% negative because of gratuitously long waiting times, the unwillingness of the office person to interact with patients, and most importantly, the doctor's lack of current information on rarer diseases of the blood.
