Mr E was patient, knowledgeable and had loads of empathy. He operated and removed a brain tumour on my partner. He was meticulous and operated true to what he said he would do. The surgery was amazing with minimal damage to the brain . We hope that he maybe helping us again as final diagnosis was not great. We will not hesitate for his expertise. We would like to thank you for all that you have done so far.

Dr.Epaliyanage operated on my L4/L5 he thoroughly explained the situation & where i was at. i had a 95% chance that it would not be successfully so the odds were firmly stacked against me... But i was admitted on Thursday Before easter 2015 & he said he needed a full theatre as i was a bigger chap... 4 days & i was in on Tuesday had operation which was fully explained what it could be. he came to my bed very early hours & touched my feet which i could feel my feet. Dr.E explained everything in detail on my recovery & i am forever thankful to him & his Team....

I was referred to Mr. Epaliyanage after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis. He put me at my ease immediately with his knowledge and obvious expertise. He explained what was wrong and what the surgery would do. I can't praise or thank Mr Epaliyanage and his team enough! I went into hospital barely able to walk or feel my feet, and I came out a few days after surgery walking and with restored feeling. Mr E is truly a genius and I send this big thank you to him and his team. I could not have been in better hands.

My hubby was diagnosed with a brain cancerous brain tumour 4 weeks ago and had surgery 3 weeks later...Mr epalyanage is a miracle worker...he told us he thought he could remove 90% of the tumour and to our amazement he removed all of it...what a surgeon he is...very straight forward and tells you as it is...my hubby came out of surgery fit as a fiddle and everything working as it should be ..can't believe my hubby didn't even have a headache after...hope you are reading this as u r a star and Mr magic fingers...we r eternally grateful to you tks again

I was very lucky to have Mr E as my neuro surgeon. After breaking my neck in an accident he took great care of me I was so close to being paralysed as I had spinal cord damage but MR E is great at what he does he's my life saver and a good friend.

Excellent. Phoned to check how things were. Fitted us in as a priority for brain tumour removal. Saw us at the end of a very busy day and emergency theatre. Very honest and direct. Clearly has great expertise for tricky operation. Patient out in 3 days and recovered very well. We are very grateful for his no nonsense can-do approach.

My husband Robert was so lucky to have Mr E. to successfully remove his Brain Tumour last July in a really long operation and also to perform a second risky operation on him in the August. He is a wonderful Surgeon and we were so lucky to have him. He always takes the time and trouble to explain every detail no matter how long it takes and answers every question in a patient, kind and professional way to ensure we have a full understanding. His bedside manner is perfect and he always goes above and beyond the call of Duty to ensure the patient and family are happy and never left worrying. He telephones out of hours to ensure all is well and to give us results so that we are not left worrying. If ever a Surgeon deserves the highest praise Mr. E certainly does. Without his skill Robert and I would not have the quality of life that we have now and we can never ever thank him enough. We cannot recommend his Neuro Surgery Skills highly enough and we thank our lucky stars that we had him as our Surgeon. You would certainly feel very safe in his hands and the kindness he shows is very much appreciated. What a wonderful man.

Prasanna operated on my spine in January 2014 - he was incredibly kind, and took time to explain in detail the procedure and and expected outcome. The surgery took 6 hours due to unexpected complications. Prasanna explained everything afterwards and the aftercare was great. He and his team are incredibly kind, talented, professional and caring. They helped me stay positive an calm, during a difficult time.
