It’s very easy to condemn an individual online and these forums are very dangerous. Janice Jolly has been our family doctor for nearly 45 years. Surely after all these years, being in my view intelligent clients of Dr Jolly, wouldn’t you think if she was so incompetent, this would have been picked up by us years ago. Maybe the aggressive writers should look at themselves and see if they’re at fault here and not Janice Jolly. We wish Janice well in her retirement, she has certainly done an excellent job as far as caring for our family is concerned. Regards, B and J.

Thankfully this Doctor has retired, before she did I went to see her with a health problem, my condition was dismissed as minor later after she had retired I went back and seen by a locum who had amongst other tests x-rays, they revealed a condition that has no cure for the damage to me but could be slowed, had it been treated sooner the damage would have been minor, now I have little energy and a ruined retirement.

Thank the Lord this lady no longer is a doctor. Reading all these comments makes me wonder how she practiced for over 30yrs without getting caught!!! Atleast no body else can get hurt.

This is not easy to say because I found Janice is a lovely lady BUT a terrible doctor. I have a knack for understanding social interactions. I'm very good at listening and I'm even better at figuring out if someone else is listening. She doesn't actually listen and understand your problems. One of these people who have no interest in learning. Condescending. Will not be visiting again, no way!

Very experienced doctor. Dr Jolly is kind and understanding, especially with those with intellectual disabilities. She also tries not to hurt with procedures. If you do complain she can handle it unlike some doctors who take it like a personal criticism if you even flinch. She also knows when a health issue is serious, almost by instinct. I do not expect perfection from a doctor I do have trust in this one.

I have found Dr Jolly extremely helpful with my health and past depression issues. Unlike comments below I have felt listened to and reassured. Her humour was, is a great gift! I also liked the way she was non judgemental with my family.

Now i know of atleast 9 HORROR storys when it comes to this lady. Dr Janice jolly was my first ever doctor. After moving away and changing GP's i had no idea that doctors were supposed to help, listen, get required test, ask questions, make you feel comfortable, get the right treatment and look after your health. I now see doctors in a new light after janice cleary ruined my perceptions on clinics. I just connot stress enough to people the importance of finding a good doctor. DR janice jolly is NOT by any means one of them. She actualy made my health problems worse by ignoring them and because these were not treated or even tested at the time (8yrs of telling janice my same problems). These issues then turned servere and affect me daily as an adult and will for the rest of what will be a short life now. I consider this lady as a damaging product on nelsons health system. Don't be as nieve as myself and family and belive the condescending words she splatters. We all have so many regrets.. its just so sad one lady can hurt so many people by simply not doing her job.

Not a good doctor. Will not listen. Will not help. Just wants to tell you that you are whingeing about your problems. Looking at the rest of these reviews, i could pretty much guarantee the 5 star reviews are friends or family of Dr Jolly trying to get her rating back up. I have no idea how this Dr is still practicing.
