Excellent first outpatient consultation- thorough, explained things well

Tony performed surgery on me in February 2023. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. He was caring , reassuring and answered all the questions I had and really listened and responded to my concerns.

Just had surgery with tony, he is amazing, he has the best reputation for helping women with endometriosis which is why I really wanted him to look after me. He is also very kind, funny, caring and professional. I have seen the bad reviews but let’s remember he is only human and cancelled appointments are not caused by him personally, I’m sure that is due to things out of his control. I also have to thank all the staff and nurses on ward 40. Thank you so much for looking after me x

Was referred on the 27 April to Mr Chalhoub by another specialist. Two cancelled appointments and still not had a conversation with him. Flimsy excuses on why my appointments were cancelled. Either not available or called away.

Let me down on my day of surgery, after telling me he treats his patients like family. Didn’t contact me for a post op appointment, I had to chase that up myself. Was due to see him last week (waited 4 months for this) and he let me down again. No communication nor apologies. I am left devastated, lots of questions from surgery of things that don’t add up. Really sad for me to write this review, as when I first met with Tony in January he made me feel heard and reassured, yet his actions have just done the opposite.

Mr Chaloub is hands down the best gynaecologist I have seen. He listens, he’s kind and compassionate. His surgery is also very neat! Thank you Mr C

Mr Chalhohoub did my robotic hysterectomy a week ago. Amazing service. I'm pain free one week post op.

A true professional. I only saw him for matters around my surgery. I saw other staff for tests and results. But when he was there. he was there . Very through. Very caring. Listened to everything I said and was so patient and encouraging without sugar coating anything
But
His actual surgical skills were outstanding
I had a complicated hysterectomy all done very smoothly
I went home the next day
Other than pain and a few issues which are peculiar to me I was home recovering well within a week.
Cannot thank him enough for all his dedication

Mr Chalhoub was very polite and gave clear information and choice of treatment. He treated me kindly and considered my individual circumstances. I feel really lucky to have had him looking after me.
